Also since Guardiolas arrived at City Sterling has the most combined assists and goals. Only three players managed by Guardiola have scored more than 100 goals. Messi, Aguero and Sterling 😉

That Bergwijn fella wasn't tearing it up and I didn't think they had any great kids beign provented form comign through. In fact i thought that right back lad they had come though, Tanganga ? (Spelling), was a bit of a bomb scare anyway. While I agree Bissouma will probably be pretty useful the rest feel like a typical Conte transfer window. More depth yes but that will be offset with playing more games (which they didn't have to do post Christmas).

The dude's already sold his house, I assume there's nothing stopping him from coming provided all this time in the background they were sorting out the necessary arrangements for him to be able to travel with the rest of the squad. With all that's need to be done is make the payment and public announcement. I mean he must be so happy to be back in London. Fcuck Manchester
July 8, 20224 yr If he signs, then I guess our first choice front three would be Sterling, Havertz and Mount, which isn't too shabby. It's a big upgrade on any combination involving Lukaku, that's for sure. He's always had a great eye for goal, and his assists should help get more goals out of Havertz and Mount. The reported transfer fee is also surprisingly reasonable for an English player with such a high profile. I definitely feel a lot more positive about this than I was last summer when we were in the process of signing Lukaku for £100 million. When you think that City got 21-year-old Haaland (86 goals in 89 Bundesliga appearances) for about half as much, it really puts that decision in perspective.
July 9, 20224 yr I doff my cap to Werner. Sterling may bring about the end of his Chelsea career but that doesn't stop him using his own website to welcome our new signing.

July 9, 20224 yr Are they off for a long weekend? 😁 I thought if all parties have agreed, the move should be official by now, the long wait continues

July 9, 20224 yr Bring back Colin Hutchinson. He used to pull transfers out of nowhere when nobody was expecting it. All of ours are now so drawn out... weeks, if not months or seasons of speculation. On the plus side, I hear Alex Sandro is happening

First you knew that we’d signed a player was on the back page of the Evening paper. On the flip side you also found out similarly of someone moving out.

July 10, 20224 yr I mean this in the most complementary way - he might be our new Pedro (or better). Just a nimble, quality starter/squad player that consistently delivers.
