Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2022/23

Think you're right Deino. But it would be very short-sighted IMO. No doubt we need to be more adventurous in our play than we are at the moment. We can't be totally conservative and risk averse if we want to play attractive football and cause opponents more problems.

Agreed. Our midfielders just don't have it in them to execute a good ball forward. It's always mish*t or overhit then they lose confidence to try again and again.

Arsenal under Arteta always crumbled under adversity. Interested to see how they respond, particularly when their first defeat comes at the start of the dreaded Thursday & Sunday fixture lists.

Interesting times.

City will destroy them

Forget about City.

Arsenal have Everton and Brentford mixed in with a hectic Europa League schedule before they face Spurs on Oct 1st. Last season, they reacted poor against adversity and had a manager who publicly complained in having two matches a week.

Like I said, interesting times for Arsenal ahead.

The amount of praise Sky Sports are giving Arsenal despite them getting beaten 3-1 is a bit odd.

Could you imagine Chelsea getting that much praise with a similar defeat.

They would analysing over and over how we was naive etc…

Sky Sports are so desperate for Arsenal to be back up there with Liverpool and Man Utd.

Can say the same about their hype over Utd display. Won the game, fair play, but a long way to go before they’re a decent team again. A better side than Arse would have won today.

Yep, they are so desperate to build up this rivalry again that they are deluded in their analysis.

Making out this was some sort of Premier League classic.

The reality is neither of theses teams are on City’s level.

Let's give it a few more months. City have changed their entire way of playing to suit Haaland. Curious to see how this pans out for them in the long run as their success has come from the influence of all.

United are going to be a real problem now aren't they? Actually have a good manager. Last year we had just Spurs and Arsenal to beat to 3rd and 4th. Now we have United and Newcastle as well.

Man U's 180 turn seems as simple as benching Maguire.  We was worth at least at least a goal a game with his comedy routine.

I doubt Varane and Martinez will be able to stay fit for the whole season so we should see normal service resumed at some point, albeit having Casemiro in front of Maguire will probably compensate to some degree.

No way

He is looking for a new club, constantly showing himself working out on IG to advertise his fitness. But wasn't he sick of life in England?

It's interesting how reliant they seem to be on Haaland at the moment. He's pretty much winning them 2 of every 3 games on his own.
