Sheffield United FA Cup semi, 3 up against Bayern, win out their league games they win the title so good shot at the treble.

Them winning the Treble would trump anything we’ve done, even worse knowing they’ve cheated their way to it but we have to wait 4 years to even get a verdict.

Does anyone really care about City though? They are meaningless and a fraud.

The media coverage around them if they do it will be unbearable and inescapable.

it would be so much worse if Arsenal win it

Far as I’m concerned they are f**ked. Premier league has enough evidence (considering they can’t appeal) and in due process justice will be served.

A nothing and meaningless club.

A treble is something else, United did it pre-social media.. we cannot even fathom how suffocating it would be. With Arse, it’s just a solitary league title, a treble is truly historic. Ideally, City win the league and fumble the Champions league/FA Cup but we know how easy and inevitable those runs are looking now.

Brighton will win the cup

I’d much rather City win the league than Arsenal.

My 2 concerns are firstly, Arsenal drawing at City is a good result for them, it’s City that need to win that game.

Secondly, if City continue to go ahead in matches and then substitute all their best players off like they did yesterday they will drop points eventually.

Leicester could of easily made it 3-3 with a bit of better finishing, a more clinical team might of got a draw out of that match.

Arsenal bottling the league would be delicious.

City's success is and has always been irrelevant to me. I couldn't care less.

If they are what stop anyone else ever winning a league title, then it's not that irrelevant. Or are you ok with second being the only option for everyone else for the next twenty years?

Having said that, as our rivals are now the likes of Crystal Palace, Wolves and Bournemouth, then you are perhaps right that it is irrelevant to Chelsea supporters who wins the league.

I don't mind Man City winning the league again, I just wish they don't win the CL though. I prefer them to run out of steam after stopping Arsenal and lose another CL final or just lose to Real Madrid in the semis and win the PL, that's the best possible outcome IMO.

City's fans aren't as insufferable as United or Arsenal's fans. They will gloat, but United and Arsenal fans never shut up. Just one win and all of a sudden they are in rival fans spaces gloating and telling us how amazing their players and club are and how everybody else is irrelevant or finished. Their fans are worse than Liverpool's lot these days and they used to be unbearable, especially during the Stevie Me era.

City winning the Treble would go into unknown realms of unbearable though, especially as they are already media darlings. Either way, neither is a good outcome, just hope it doesn’t come down to the final day as they are playing us at home, therefore we would be associated with their historic treble if it went down to game 38, we’d be the new QPR. My twitter is actually littered with unbearable City fans taking digs at us (maybe that’s just my algorithm) as they are not being followed, I agree with you on the fan perspective though it’s just the cultural/media landscape bombardment of an historic Treble that would be too much to take.

I don't seem them as an established rival. They have been widely successful over the past decade and a half so I'm also used to it. Still, it doesn't offend me at all. I dread the fallout of Arsenal/Spurs/Utd/Pool being as successful, so naturally I do have a preference if Chelsea aren't in the conversation. Unless another team decides to pull a Leicester.

As bad as our situation is, we know by now that it can go from good to sh*t really fast (2021-2023/2014/15-2016), but it can also go from really sh*t to good just as fast (2015/16-2017.)

City winning the treble would bother me far less than Arsenal winning trhe league.

I don't even know any city fans and I feel I can enjoy watching them play beautiful football guilt free. They're like a fifa video game team (with cheat codes) and they're on borrowed time as it is.

TAA even motions the arm towards the ball making a pass to start the counter. It’s jus disgusting refereeing. And they want respect, respect needs to be earned by their neutrality and good work. The Leeds players and the coach should point the finger at the ref and VAR.
