What's the weather like in Vegas? Bet it's colder than over here. We are having a Great British heatwave where Southend is officially hotter than the sun, it's true I read it in The Sun. The Government have declared a state of emergency and in many areas kids don't have to go to school on Monday, which is nice, presumably neither do the teachers

Apparently if it gets to the expected 40 degrees roads will melt, trains will stop and the Government are asking hospital trusts to change the normal procedures and not to leave incoming patients in ambulances. Plus everyone is advised to consider how much water they use. Even in Wales. Yes Wales. The place where Noah's ark sank.

Still, it's all due to be over by Wednesday. With the wind and rain returning and no sunshine until next May. I'm old enough to remember the long, hot summer of '76. Very, very lucky to survive that.

    Colwill not even amongst the subs. Either he has a knock or that is a knock on the impression he has made. That cannot be right how do we have a squad of 29 before Sterling and Koulibaly joined but name only 9 subs for the first pre season friendly? Would mean 2 players have to play 90 minutes that rarely happens in preseason early.

    The ball rarely reaches our front line.. I think Kennedy has seen more of the ball than our front 3 put together..

    It's only a pre season kick about but its the same sh*t attacking wise...CHO won't take on anyone and beat them, no one will take a shot from outside the box...apart from Kenedy.  Back line playing too high leaving us vulnerable to the counter and gaps. On the plus Gallagher and Ziyech are decent, Chillwell is getting a work out and Havertz is still looking for the ball..😂
