I'd like to see a team that will likely have players that will actually be here this season.

Agreed. We still have another month before the window closes, so we may see some changes to the squad. But at this point I think TT should focus on the players currently available as they will almost certainly be the only ones featuring in the first few games of the season at least. Hopefully he marginalizes playing time for those that want out. We really should be starting the team that we expect to start at Everton.

The DM in a 4-3-3 needs to be able to drop into the hole between the central defenders, otherwise you get what happens against Arsenal - wide open spaces in the channels on counter-attacks.

Jorginho hasn't the pace to get back and do that.

By definition there will be wide open spaces in the channels on counter-attacks... Jorginho doesn't have the pace but he's still the only real sitting midfielder that we have.

If you want to play Jorgi in 433 it is quite clear how to do it

Sterling - Kai - CHO

Mount - Kante

          Jorgi

Chilwell - cb - cb - James

Can this work? Absolutely.

What happen offensively will be something like

         Mount - Sterling - Kai

Chilwell - Jorgi - Kante - CHO

            CB - cb - james

If you say , that looks like exactly how we play right now and you are absolutely correct 😆😆

Kante has all the tools needed. He would just have to drop his instincts to drive forward.

Chalobah also played there for Ipswich and Lorient.

There are many thing that Kante need to  suppress to play as a dm. He like to press (as lone DM you need to be conservative), he like to dribble (as lone DM you need to pass more) and he is not comfortable making 1000 pass a game.

If you give him time, I think he can do it but there will be some good time and some bad time.

Jorgi imo is still our best dm for Tuchel ball. The problem is that with jorgi you get specific thing and you can't ask for different stuff. That is fine if you are just basic dm but when you are a uefa poty, this can't be it.

It looks like we are playing two games against udinese which is important because based on last week game our team is not close to be ready for the season

First team tomorrow, back ups Saturday

Good, we need one game where we kinda play our 1st eleven as close to 90 min as possible and please no more 433/442.

Play 343, play well and let's spank everton next week.

Need this game to be about seeing the team at full strength.

No deadwood like Pulisic, Barkley, Batshuyai or Sarr,  No Kepa.  No players that want to leave like Ziyech or Azpi.

Just a full strength team for as long as possible,  Sterling for the 90.  Koulibaly for the 90 if possible.  Alongside Thiago Silva.

Agree on full strength with the exception being Broja should start up front and Colwill in defence imo.

Otherwise Mendy, James, Silva, Koulibaly, Chiwell, Kante, Kovacic, Mount and Sterling to join them please.

I guess that means Kepa, Colwill, Trev, Sarr, D. Sterling, Chilwell, Kova, Gallagher, Pulisic, Broja and Werner are Chelsea B tomorrow.
