Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa (born 21 July 2006)

just turned 16 a couple of days ago

Chelsea are willing to pay 30 million euros + 10 in add ons for him

In five years he scored 165 goals in 169 games for Palmeiras youth teams

The media often talk these young players up a lot and they turn out to be mediocre, but this kid looks like he has a lot of things senior players don't even have in their mid 20's.

His skill, pace and especially his finishing are what you would see in a top player at their peak, but this kid has only just turned 16!

When is the last time we bought a really highly rated top young attacking talent that other clubs wanted?

Hazard?

When was the last time we bought one as a teenager like this and he made the first team at uch a young age CHO, I suppose but he came through the ranks

We almost had Neymar in his youth, before his dad got him to ignore us and go to Barca the following season or whatever it was. I don't think we've ever bought real young promising forward talent and had them for the majority or a good bulk of their career. Even Hazard was probably about 21/22 when he joined us and had already proven himself at Lille to some degree.

Nathan and Kennedy the last Brazilian teenagers we signed.  Turned out well

Completely irrelevant in this context

But I fully expect if we sign him, he turns out to be crud. Whilst if we don't, he wins the ballon dor in 5 years.

Pele was in the Brazil national team at age 16, so young Endrick isn't quite there yet ... 🙂

Not sure if it's just on the video, but looks like he has a very strong upperbody for 16 years or younger.

Definitely looks very strong from the video.  Shrugs off defenders on the run with the shoulder like Drogba.  Sign this kid up!

Have now watched the video.

Looks like a no brainer to me 🙂

He is doing things that no-one else in the PL is doing, or if they can, they keep it well hidden !

His skill, technique, footballing brain and end product make our current incumbent generational talent look like a poor man's Emile Heskey ... and that's being kind LOL

SIGN HIM UP !

To easy to say Pulisic just for your reaction 🤣

If we signed him it would be good to keep him around the squad rather than farming him out. We could better manage his minutes and if Everton could do it with Rooney and Barcelona with Pedri and Gavi, why not have a 16/17 year old prodigy as part of the first team squad. He certainly looks strong enough and capable and we could prevent burn out or muscle fatigue better than sending him on loan to someone who might play him relentlessly.

i don't think he can come over until his 18th birthday though

Looks amazing in those YouTube videos, important to remember they are all youth games though, so he still has to bring that ability into senior football.

It would be a massive coup for us to bring him in, it's the sort of signing that if it works out well, it raises our standing as a club in the game.

yes but he is 15 in most of those and it's U19 level that he's playing at
