Safe to assume Kante will be out so I'd expect same starting eleven as today bar Gallagher in for Kante.

Personally I'd also bench Havertz and start Broja. To be honest I don't think Broja is all that but I'd rather see Sterling not being wasted as a false nine.

I think you look at the problem the wrong way. Tuchel said that he likes sterling as false 9.

I would really like to see that second lineup, looks great. Mount does come deeper and RLC is the jack of all trades. I think that Gallagher can do a lot in that position and then Havertz is in a much better position too.

Obviously it's too much offensive for Tuchel but what are we without dreaming...

I predict a lot of Raphinha based mockery from Leeds, us to dominate the game and a 1-1 draw.

So another 1-1 thrashing ;). They have had a decent start but we ought to have enough to win up there. Aaronson is a decent signing for them, and Rodrigo has been in decent form, but their defense still looks dodgy.

Where Leeds struggle is wide areas. Currently we have 3 top wingbacks in Cucurella, Chilly and James. I am sure Tuchel wants every attack to go through the wings. Our problem is not crossing but finishing. I would still trust Havertz and Sterling to finish one or two chances from them. Mount is also a player that loves playing against Leeds.

I am saying Leeds 1 - Chelsea 3

It is not offensive, it is suicidal. There is a reason why nobody play diamond anymore.

If you want to play Gallagher it is easy

Kai - Sterling

Mount - Gallagher

Jorgi-Ruben

Cucu - Koula - Silva -  James

Will this work? I haven't watched leeds play so I don't know but It is the same story

can our opp attack through the middle?

No -> it is ok

yes + no Kante = disaster.

Yes + no Kante + Back 4 = suicide

We played 4-2-2-2 last season and won most matches, even with bench players. 4-1-3-2 when pressing is great and when defending it becomes 4-3-1-2 which isn't really suicidal, it's even more conservative in comparison to how Liverpool and Man City defend in their 4-3-3.

So game 3 of Mount, Havertz and Sterling. Apparently from United or Southampton, could not ask for a better opponent for each to open their scoring books this season.

Kante will be back in time for the World Cup only to collapse again immediately after.

Have to have one eye on protecting Jorginho now there's no Kante or Kova. Make sure he isn't isolated one on one, or gets trapped in a tight space surrounded by opponents in a dangerous area.

It will be interesting to see who's playing in the midfield, aggressive option be Gallagher, likely to see RLC with Azpi back in the defence and James in his natural position. We play with the same intensity like last Sunday, we will win comfortably. However, we all know some players pick games to shine, and sleep through other games.

You can't play with last Sunday intensity intensity for 60 games.

Back to the RLC and Jorgi combo we go.

Honestly Kova and Kante fitness is about as reliable and long lasting these days as anything you buy from Del Boy...

Hmm leeds is playing in 4231 system which is a concern but I think we should be ok.

That’s why you need a strong squad to maintain that intensity as much as possible

For how long is Kova supposedly out? Thought he was already on the bench during the first match?

Estimated with or without the usual setbacks?
