Think Gallagher has the potential to pkay better but is nervous and trying too hard. Still that’s on him. Suspect Azpi will get a run tonight and possibly RLC in midfield. Won’t surprise me if this is a draw.

What I don't get is why we don't play an anchor in midfield now that we have the talents of Conor and Mason to be proper 8's. Use Ampadu there, or Trev or Reece.

Hopefully so James can play at RWB where he belongs.

 

Tough game.  We're in a bit of a bad spot from our own doing.  Need a confidence inspiring performance and just let things settle down a bit on and off the pitch.  Time of concentrate on football and start winning.

Hopefully it's the Loftus-Cheek gambit (back four in possession, back five out of it) that worked so well against Tottenham, and not the 'Loftus-Cheek legitimately at right wing-back and Jorginho/Gallagher in a two' mess we saw at Leeds.

There is literally dozens of other formations, systems and styles to play.

Many of which would suit our squad much better, rather than constantly playing players out of position to fit his style of football.

This better be a 433. To go with the same formation and players (Apart from Chalobah) that we got smashed by Leeds playing with, makes no sense.
