It is mad. The money for players is insane. Did anyone know about Caicedo before he went to Brighton,  apart from Brighton's scouts. Benfica and Brighton are rinsing big clubs for their money

He was good when he played for Beerschot. But not to an extend that I would have thought that in less than a less he would be sold for plus 60 mil.

Then again, there is only so much you can show in a dozen of games in a mediocre team.

Call me biased but if I was Caceido I’d pick Chelsea for sure. Arsenal are doing well but that’s also due to collapse of City and Liverpool, with Man Utd and us performing poor as well.

Boehly and Potter is clearly building something very exciting at Chelsea and Caceido could potentially be part of a great team for a decade. Arsenal aren’t going to stay at the top for very long.

His new agents may well be pushing this. Be a quick way for them to make big money.

Be that as it may, Caicedo will likely be one of the difference makes for Brighton in whether they qualify for Europe. They have their mind in the right place ambition wise.

Can't lie, I think if Caciedo puts in a transfer request it's pretty poor from him. He'll have the same options in the summer so he may as well stay if Brighton are that against selling him. Modern football and pushy agents I guess.

Don't think he does. At the very most it will be like Enzo where he asks the board to accept the offer.

His form could go downhill, or he could suffer a long term injury. Arsenal are keen because he is on very low wages; apparently £1,500 p/w. Would fit right in with their wage bracket.

Fabrizio said one his podcast while covering our deal of Malo Gusto that Moises is respectful of Brighton but wants to move now. Looks like that started with Arsenals bid.

You are absolutely incorrect. Record fee was Cucurella and that was more than 60m.

So this is a winner for us. This pretty much confirms we’ve signed a midfielder this window, wether that’s Caicedo or Enzo.

How?

Caicedo looks Arsenal bound,

Enzo just looks bound.

Now why do you assume he means us not Arsenal?

We make an offer of 55mill, Brighton reject it, Moises stays radio silent.

Arsenal make an offer of 60mill, Brighton reject it, same day Moises makes this post saying he wants to go.

See how that looks?

Surprised with the social media post, that’s mad, what’s going on at Brighton, first Trossard pushing his way out now this. You’d think they’d all be focused on pushing into the Europa League spots at least, where’s the tunnel vision as a unit?

I’m pleased the club didn’t want to go above £55m. I don’t want them over paying for players who not elite quality. We’ve been there for too long.

We don't know the club won't offer more than 55mill. Could well be ourselves and/or Arsenal are back in tomorrow with a 65mill offer after his statement tonight.

First was Cucurella, then Trossard, now Moises.

Never happened under Potter. They knew who the daddy was.
