I like him, but with Nkuku coming, and money will be tight next season, I rather we return him and spend the money on where it matters. Sell Havertz to Bayern would be an option too, but we all know they don't spend big.

I would do everything we possibly can to get him here permanently.

Fair enough Just, I think he is, at the moment, too selfish to be as good as you think he would be. Lets see if we do want to keep him as well as sign Nkunku.

Maybe I'm the one missing something here @just. 

I see him as another Jorginho situation - lots of things that he ought to be showing/doing because of the player people think he is, but very little actually happening.

Fingers crossed with Lamps as interim he has the balls to bench him, & reinstate Mount into the starting 11. Convincing Mount he has a place in this project is way more important that stroking Jorge Mende’s ego, and indulging his client.

I'd honestly drop Havertz. 

Interchangeable three of Felix, Mount, and Sterling/Mudryk.

That's the problem, he's always like this and why he was let go from Atletico. I don't think we can afford to have yet another type of his player on our books permanently. 

I think like every other attacker we have, he would benefit massively from having a top striker to link up with. 

Rather stick with Nkunku and use that 80m to get Kolo Muani.

Does he play as regularly under Frank?

I think we can be quite sure that Mason comes back in more regularly and he isn't really a striker. Be curious to see what happens.

Felix looks like a player that is always so close. He's just missing that killer moment right now and I think he will get there at some point in his career. I don't think we can spend the money to bring him here permanently though. If we hadn't already spent so much money, I would be happy for him to join on a permanent deal.

Atletico don't want him if Simeone continues plus they're short on cash. If Boehly has the patience to negotiate he could get it for half the price

How do you handle Nkunku, Felix, and Havertz on top of Sterling, Madueke, and Mudryk AND a ST?

 

Felix is a nice to have, not a need to have at the moment. If there is any money left after securing a GK, DM and ST - go for it. Those positions have to be prioritized, though.

Looks like both Nagelsmann and Enrique want Felix.

Just shows the owners are clueless & don’t know what they are doing. Even forget Felix’s disastrous loan deal and his punchable face, he occupies the same area as the €60m Nkunku. He has also blocked Murdyk & Madueke’s progress ever since he turned up. I still feel Jorge Mendes has them in a chokehold, & has made us signing Felix a prerequisite for helping the owners with acquiring a Portuguese club. Bad business & decision making all around.

Think with Havertz and Mount were to leave it creates more opportunities for even the likes of Mudryk and Madueke. 

That being said, think this gives an advantage to Nagelsmann moreso Enrique. 

The way I describe him is he's the player opposition fans and even some section of our own fanbase deluded themselves into believing Hazard was.

I can see that. Not a fan myself either.

Increasingly look like a luxury player, there's a reason Simeon who didn't fancy him. He plays every game, yet contributed very little in terms of goals or end products. I still prefer Werner with 2 left foot, at least he got speed /work rate, and done more in contributing goals than other attacking players we got in the last 2 seasons.
