Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now

Featured Replies

If James and Lavia wasn’t such injury concerns I’d think we was ok.

Let’s not panic buy though. Barco looked like he could do anything Enzo could offer from deep and Rogers has taken his 10 role. Not sure how much Essugo and Hendo can offer in a midfield hoping to challenge.

I’d still like a proper signing in there. We can’t rely on a patched up, knackered MC and whoever is fit and available next to him all season.

I don’t know a lot about Camara but he seems highly rated. If we wind up selling Enzo and replace him with Barco and Camara banking £30-£40m in the process then I’d take that.

No idea why people engage with this Twatter bo**ocks. I mean what is the c*nt even saying here? Absolutely hate this sh*te.

Great bit of insight that…. He might, he might not. Was there a third option?

So it appears that the Camara deal might be subject to Fernandez going. Its too late now. If Man City bid at all it will be a low ball offer on the last day. I don't see anything happening now and he stays.

Hopefully Alonso benches him and he has to knuckle down and prove his worth and that he is gappy to be here. If its not the case then keep him on the bench.

It's Ornstein talking, not Gerrard :)

It's a parody account with a prediction that we all hope comes true.

Honestly, Cherki is a great player but I wouldn't take him over Palmer, Rogers and Estevao at the moment.

Not necessarily saying that they're better than him but I'm so happy with our forward line at the moment I wouldn't trade it for anything.

More concerning is that it’s being reported City have opened negotiations with Liverpool for Gakpo. Seems they are happy to leave an approach for Fernandez till the 11th hour in the hope/assumption that we will be forced to accept a low offer and be unable to sign any sort of replacement.

City are playing a game here. What game we cannot be sure. I mean it seems most likely an effort to drive the price down. Maybe is also in the hope we cannot sign a replacement or maybe they want us to sign a replacement and then they DON'T sign Enzo leaving us over stocked, perhaps with FFP consequences.

One thing these Venture capitalists clowns won’t do is being mugged off by City worst after the Enzo debacle

Players and their agents never learn when this sort of negotiation goes on its usually the player that suffers, as per the Isak situation. Hes not regained/maintained his form. Enzo is going to suffer one way or another, i can see him failing to hold down a starting position in either team.

It would be a tragedy for City if they didnt get Gakpo or Enzo.😂

Liverpool are probably adjusting their fax machine to our settings!

They are going to lowball the sh*t out of us on final day. Every possible scanario benefits them

  1. They get him on the cheap

  2. They don’t get him and we are left with an unhappy player

  3. They f**k up our FFP due to bringing in a replacement signing

  4. We are unable to sign replacement leaving us short

Im at the point we should just tell city to f**k off.

Financial situation will be more important next summer if we get back to European football. Until then we are safe. But things look very good nevertheless.

The thing is that next summer I personally believe there will be even more clubs ready to pay big money for him. One is PSG. The other could well be Real Madrid.

Vitinha at PSG is there for a long time, Fabian will be 31 years old this season. If they do not win the UCL again, PSG might be thinking of some fresh blood there.

And Real Madrid, IMHO, will be a failure under Mourinho. No way they beat Barcelona for the league title and no way they win the UCL with washed up Mourinho in charge. So after yet another poor season they will surely be looking for some shiny new toys.

There is another scenario where we get the offer we want and sell him for his actual value. Not everything has to be negative.

TBF David Ornstein is very reliable and creditable.

I watched the whole segment live and he was basically saying he doesn't know at this point and if he says he's leaving and then he doesn't then the internet will come for him.

So he actually said as it stands he doesn't right now and anything is possible.
