September 1, 2025Sep 1 First the KGB spike him whilst he’s on International duty. Now they’re hacking UK Speed Cameras to derail his triumphant return.Fully expect the squad to go full Scouse with this. I’m talking pre-match tee’s with his face emblazoned across the front, a minutes silence, heck even throw in a black armband and taking the knee on the 15th minute, get the socials all in on the #JusticeForMisha(For the benefit of certain ‘yeehaw’ posters this is all sarcasm, however he’s still a better option than Gittens ever will be, Thank You)
September 1, 2025Sep 1 Have we ever signed just a brain-dead player before? Honestly, it's one thing after another.

But I am a little disappointed after I realised I'd initially misread the ban as 182 years when it's only between 1&2.

Would be cheaper to fine/discipline him on reduced wages for the length of the ban and then flog him for book value.

Although Mudryk's last public statement seems to suggest he will not dispute the test result but will plead mitigating circumstances.

Are they the same firm that represented Pogba?

There are reports that some studies have found it evident in meat and cows milk and in support of that study another confirmed it can be introduced and will show up via milk.My reading of all this is that the tests weren’t carried out in the UK. There was a suggestion at one time the test was compromised. That’s a classic defence and to be fair seems to be well argued by rich footballers legal teams.GiveMeSportThe 12 biggest doping scandals in football history as Gab...Gabigol now joins a notable list of footballers to have broken the rules 😬
September 2, 2025Sep 2 I don't think his appeal is gonna do much good. The video evidence against him is pretty strong. And let's be honest here. Most of us who watched him play thought he had to be on something. Edited September 2, 2025Sep 2 by just

I think people don't realise that WADA is a political body, not a medical or scientific one. Its decisions are not entirely evidence-based and nor are they required to be.As to whether meldonium does what WADA claims it does is still highly subjective. There is limited evidence to suggest it is actually performance-enhancing in trained athletes and even its claimed clinical benefits are doubted. These concerns were reviewed as early as 2016. Some of the original complaints were that WADA's tests were too sensitive, that it detected trace amounts that could in no way be performance-enhancing, but I think WADA rules generally don't care about such things and the presence alone is enough to warrant an offence. Meldonium is a little different to other drugs as the drug is not naturally-occurring and therefore the test (I believe) is a simple presence/absence test, as opposed to something like EPO or steroids where an inference must be made about whether the tested level is above the person's endogenous levels. Those are inherently more subjective and easier to discredit in a court. There is some published research that meldonium can be found in detectable quantities when people consume milk or chicken from animals fed common supplements but a closer look reveals that these tend to be studies with tiny cohorts of participants (the one I linked had only 4 lol!).
September 3, 2025Sep 3 Hopefully back for the second half of the season, an instant upgrade off the bench over Gittens and will get his deserved assists with an actual Striker in JP or Delap feeding off.

September 3, 2025Sep 3 Unbelievably this happened to me , turned up for work , got a random drug and alcohol test .They called it non - negative for opiates , then followed a week of hell insisting on retest in lab , thinkingwas my drink spiked at West Ham and what could have caused this could only be diet.Told retest could take a couple of days then possibly a week as results have to be looked at by doctor. You’re guilty until innocent . 7 days of panic and screaming , negative result comes back , went in and hadReassurance speech from security , and I said who’d have thought that something like bread can cause all this -security guy said no it would take a lorry load to trip the test.Everyone involved in the testing believes in it , they have their heads in the sandcaused me chaos - now got union involved - company need educating Me and possibly Mudrick are victims
