The Dutch were up 1-0 and Romania bring on the subs then possibly the miscarriage of the match the big guy stretches for the ball get's it about waist height and puts the runner in yet maybe it was Dumfries simulates getting kicked in the head and the ref buys it and the protesting Stanciu gets booked. Minute later 2-0.

No mention by the pundits in the studio.

Still think the Netherlands would have won yet would have made for a frantic ending.

No idea! I thought it only played at speed skating events, but that might be another brass band.

We made a similar point at work today. Last night Slovenia were plucky, brave, putting in a fantastic shift. Doing the same against us and it was all we're sh*te, etc.

I remember hearing the band every tournament except for this one and maybe the last, nearly always the same songs too. 

I wondered if perhaps COVID had finished them off.........

Gapko is a class act. He is a striker I’d like us to have. Similar to Jackson with the ball but a much better finisher.

We've had some great Dutch players. ( JFH probably my favourite)

Too much player-power. It will be beneficial for the team when he retires. He was so incredibly selfish in Portugal's game against Slovenia. Took every single free kick. The one he took near the corner flag was ridiculous. Thing is with him, it is a personal mission rather than doing what is best for the team and with Martinez also, he is overruled by Ronaldo. Even when Portugal had topped the group, Ronaldo was the only outfield player to keep his position in team against Georgia, which he was poor in. You have Ramos who is young and done well in his limited appearances who cannot even get a sniff because Ronaldo has got immortal status. Must be so frustrating for rest of the team.
