July 14, 20242 yr f**k off, Southgate. Trash tactics all f**king tournament, sat back in the final like a bunch of cowards and then abandons his sh*t tactics for the 6th game in a row and individualism saved him again, but this time it was temporary. After the goal, he has England sit back and defend, AGAIN. Instead of pushing for the goal, the twat has them sit back and absorb pressure again. Anybody that thinks this guy has done a good job is clueless, sorry, but you are. Pickford smashing the ball long with every opportunity, these tactics haven't worked for over a decade. Another generation being wasted because the F.A just can't get the right f**king guy.
July 14, 20242 yr That moment where Bellingham swivels on the edge of the box takes two defenders out swivels and hits it, it narrowly misses yet deserved a goal. On another forum I said Spain would win the tournament. Nice to see Pamer get a goal too.
July 14, 20242 yr I was most disappointed by how sloppy England were, poor passing, so careless with the ball. To win at this level you have to do the basics well

July 14, 20242 yr Time to say goodbye Gareth. A possible golden generation is being wasted under a manager who is far too pragmatic. Reaching the final is good but you need a little extra to win the trophy. Too scared to push for a win.
July 14, 20242 yr We were not as good as them, can't complain, poor setup from the manager, far too passive until we go behind. That being said, why is the ref blowing bang on 94, they rolled around the whole added time! Well done to cole for proving Gareth wrong, the guy is mustard. We need to buy Watkins, him and cole link up so well

We were w**k up until they scored, we've been living off moments throughout the whole tournament, and Palmer's goal was another moments goal. We haven't played well in a single game. He's had 8 years of tournament football with England and beaten ONE of the traditional good teams, and that team was Germany who were in a rebuilding phase and going through their worst period in decades. One f**king team, and this Spanish coach has beaten 5 of them in a single tournament. It's not because he has better players, he's just a far superior coach. There is zero excuse for this England team to be so cautious in every single tournament, the players are too good for that. They don't do it for their clubs, and they shouldn't be doing it for their country. They are on the backfoot every time they step on the pitch and it's because of the approach by Southgate.
July 14, 20242 yr Come in stop the Gareth basing - he wasn’t on the pitch strolling round not showing passion fair enough he has probably taken them as far as he can But if you can find a manager to do as well - good luck with that !

He got more right tonight than previously in tournament. Earlier to bring on Watkins and Palmer but when that turned the game in our favour we saw his weakness. He left a massively under performing Foden on instead of looking to seize our chance. Then we sat further and further back and handed the game to Spain as they tried to win it.
July 14, 20242 yr Watkins came on yet I struggle to remember him on the ball though he did get a yellow card.

July 14, 20242 yr Onceagain in a big game Kane, Foden, Saka, etc... nowhere to be found, Eng got lucky all tournament, playing sh*t.

He didn’t have to be on the ball, his presence turned the Spanish defence, creating space . Unfortunately having got back into the match we became pragmatic again.

Fair enough but if I asked 10 of us to pick an England team and a system we would pick something different He played Cole really well for example, he has absolutely faded in the second half a lot of times when starting for us
July 14, 20242 yr Foden and Jude getting away scott free from criticism. Outside of that goal Jude really hast done anything and Foden could have been on the bench and made a bigger impression he did nothing of note yet Cole cant start.

Always afraid of what the opposition can do and never having the faith in his own players to dominate the game. Saw the same negativity from Benitez.
