Got to admit he's got pretty good stats for a 21 year old

Never seen him play, know he won La Liga POTM at some stage so must be doing something right.

Even if it doesn't work out he's young enough that we can recoup most of the money spent so I can't complain about this.

Was set to join Bournemouth in January for 22.5mill but he failed his medical.

We need to be careful with such players. Even with Kante leaving we don't want more regular members of the long term care club.

Had a hamstring or hip injury that was thought he'd be back in Feb but was set to be March so Bournemouth didn't risk it as they needed him sooner than that to help push for survival. 

Just to flag that it's not about something reoccurring but reactive to his state at the time. 

Nizaar for me has lost a lot of credibility this past year so I would be surprised if there was truth to this. 

Jackson's profile is interesting. Seems like an Anelka type where he can do a job at ST or at either wing. 

 

Never heard of the guy but I like the idea of signing a younger striker with something to prove.

Hmm. Pochettino did a great job bringing Kane through so maybe he wants someone young/raw to work with again.

Nicolas Jackson [21]. Tall and fast - a young striker with some decent potential. One to watch. His agent has been doing the rounds and offering the player to PL clubs and Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.

Sounds like a case of buying all the good 20-21 year olds out there, and hope one of them turns into a min Messi. 9 goals out of 8 is a great spell, but how many games did he play before that spell?

Matt Law was on the London is Blue podcast saying that we shouldn’t be anywhere near him. He’s not Chelsea quality at all. He won’t get back to where we need.

Makes sense as he was on the verge of joining Bournemouth in January.

Everyone pretty much has good stats at 21yrs old.. 

Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal is a very concrete name.

Chelsea are really working on this one and want to be informed on all the conditions of the deal, on the release clause, how to activate it, and how many years to pay it.

He's a real, concrete option for Chelsea.

12 goals in professional football. Is he really any better than Fofana? Don't mind signing young promising players, but we really need someone who can guarantee goals right now.

This is exciting as hell. Believe mates! He just might be the New Drogba.

I'm not even too bothered about the goals but certainly a presence up top that can strongly lead the line, occupy the opposition defence and allow room for our attacking minds to contribute as well with goals. I would have liked someone like Mitrovic because as well as contributing with goals of his own, he would have been a strong focal point for the others to work with. 

EDIT - I have just watched some YouTube clips (yeah, I know), but this lad looks quite promising actually going by these
