Like I said, fair bit of potential. But evident for all to see that his link-up game is just quite far from the required standard. Works fine against a Liverpool that leaves a lot of spaces for the opponents but there's games where this inability to play with the back against the goal is going to be some grim viewing.

Very harsh. 

It's one game, against Liverpool at that, and he did quite well for me and he caused them a lot of problems. 

It doesn't matter if our striker is prime Brazilian Ronaldo, getting top 4 this season is a big task. We have a forward who makes the right runs and brings others into the game, that's just what we need. The goals can still come, one goalless game against Liverpool doesn't refute that.

What nonsense is this? His link-up play is great he actually just showed it today. We played a back 3 it's not like it was easy for him to take all those balls against Van Dijk are you trolling?

Jackson is the best number 9 we've had in years, based on that performance. 

Did alright, hopefully with more minutes he'll be more clinical with the finish. Just hope he stays fit/avoid getting kicked in the balls, no Jackson/Nkunku would put us in a difficult position.

Jackson was playing his first game against VVD and Knoute.. they have kept many an out.. Jackson would be fine…

we finished top 4 with Jorgi as top scorer too.. there are enough goals in the team ..

if you think Jackson is  Carlton Cole then really doubt if you are only here to wind up people..

Every signing is great until they're not. If I was a Chelsea fan, I'd be happy with the performance today and I'd say there's promise in this guy - but I'd also think "is this guy really the one to carry our front line right now, or do we find another option in case it doesn't work out quite so well?"

His link up play his one of his main strengths.
