I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think he has a single goal from outside the box yet. The goals I have seen him score that I would call top quality were the goals against Leicester and Brentford. Everything else was pretty much put on a plate for him.
April 21, 20251 yr Where is @Bob stark to tell us "Jackson is Fine"?!!Despite his alleged demolition of Bournemouth earlier in the season (a demolition that did not actually include any goals), feel Jackson is not really cut out for PL football and he would only be "fine" in the Championship or perhaps lower. To conclude - he's f**king hopeless.
April 21, 20251 yr To be fair Jackson isn't a striker (or a footballer at times). If we were to get a decent centre forward / striker, he could play on a left of a front free.

We have enough problems with bang average wingers, the last thing we need is to try a player who is poor in 1v1, and thrive when he has space to run into and drive behind. What is Jackson meant to do when he faces a low block as a LW?

Box presence is by far Jackson biggest weakness. It is the same as saying physical duel is Chalobah n Colwill weaknesses.
April 21, 20251 yr Jackson is everything you don’t want in a box presence striker. Can’t think of any good attribute he has inside the box.

April 21, 20251 yr It looks like many fans here still don't understand how our board do business. We don't sign player who is just 1 step away from being ready, we sign player who is 2/3 or even more steps from being ready. Jackson has less caps right now compare to isak when isak was at Sociedad. 😂😂😂 Edited April 21, 20251 yr by Bob stark

April 21, 20251 yr 3rd or 4th time I've mentioned this but Jackson was never in a youth academy. These fundamental things you want from a striker I feel he will never subconsciously learn as he's past that part of his development.
April 21, 20251 yr Must say I am happy with how this thread is progressing. Most of us now unified in our agreement that the donkey is trash and will never be Chelsea quality.Of course - fully agree he is not a striker, but also strongly disagree with any thought to put him out wide. He has zero footballing intelligence, consistently makes bad decision, cannot dribble and I have seen no evidence he can cross. There is zero benefit to plying him out wide. There are a few stubborn mules who continue to say Jackson is worth persevering with - but increasingly it seems like they argue for the sake of it (dominating bournemouth ffs! which didn't even happen!!!) - We are almost united in consensus. Long may this continue. Next we need some banners at the bridge to get the fraud gone....
