For clarity, he is Rubbish - against whoever he plays. There is a slight exception to this rule when he plays against west ham, who he has now had 2 good games against, across 2 seasons. He was also ok for 10 mins against Leicester, and he had 2 decent runs in a couple of minutes against newcastle.

The last offside where he was sprinting at full speed, didn’t even try to slow down and check himself despite seeing across the whole line was just silly.

Everybody stepped up their game apart from Jackson. He just looked out of his depth and Palmer was visibly pissed at him when he was caught offside again before being subbed.

Cannot be starting for us next season. Simple.

After two full seasons I think it’s pretty clear this lad is a long way from top striker potential. He’s been given a better chance than many and he’s proven consistently that he hasn’t got what it takes.

Perhaps the ‘highlight’ for want of a better term was his hat-trick against Spurs last season. I still haven’t got my head around how someone scores three goals in a game whilst simultaneously producing one of the worst performances seen by a striker in a Chelsea shirt, ever. His third was like watching Mr Bean playing centre forward.

But Jackson isn't picking himself to start every game is he ? If the club as you believe have bought a useless forward and the manager keeps picking that useless forward , why is your focus ONLY ever on the player ?

I have always had faith in the owners, they have faith in Maresca, he has faith in Jacko, just keep the faith Jim and trust the process like me.

Are you genuinely asking for my opinion on why I think we should sell him (I think my opinion is well rehearsed) or are you arguing that we should keep him despite the growing evidence of how bad he is?

Maresca is either a) deluded or b) lying. I don't know which. I hope its B.
