It's all here already....for those who want to see it.

For clarity, he is Rubbish - against whoever he plays. There is a slight exception to this rule when he plays against west ham, who he has now had 2 good games against, across 2 seasons. He was also ok for 10 mins against Leicester, and he had 2 decent runs in a couple of minutes against newcastle.

I see the Collins English Dictionary is now using the term correctly....

Jim, I need proof , not just your opinion!!😂

Suggest watching some games…. There is a large body of evidence, with a string of car crash performances. 1 league goal in 2025 (14 or 15 games) is a start….

Jim's way of complaining about nico is often unpopular but he is right about him, on the football side.

You cannot train common sense and a football IQ. He does not have the mind for this.

Needs to be sold, just one of those signings that we need to write off

Thanks matey.

It warms the heart to see more and more people come around. We should all be united in our position.

Unfortunately There is still a cartel of posters who argue and act all contrary - I was even asked for evidence yesterday to prove that he was rubbish. I am convinced some people don't even watch the games.

But you are right - this fraud is a lost cause. Off load and move on.

Stats updated given Wackos recent goals against the swedish part timers....

1) Marc Guiu

  • 6 Goals / 0 assists

  • 578 minutes played

  • 1 goal contribution every 96 minutes

2) Joao Felix

  • 7 goals/ 2 assists

  • 947 mins played for Chelsea

  • 1 goal contribution every 105 minutes

3) Chris Nkunku

  • 14 goals (top scorer)/ 5 assists

  • 2039 mins played

  • 1 goal contribution every 107 minutes

4) Cole Palmer

  • 15 goals/ 10 assists

  • 3335 mins played

  • 1 goal contribution every 133.4 minutes

5) Noni Madueke

  • 11 goals/ 5 assists

  • 2137 mins played

  • 1 goal contribution every 133.5 minutes

6) Wacko Jacko

  • 12 goals/ 5 assists

  • 2322 mins played

  • 1 goal contribution every 136 minutes

In addition to the poor goal per minute data, Jackson is also:

  • 4th in the EPL for big chances missed.

  • 4th in the EPL for numbers of times caught offside.

  • Still - on the bright side, he now has 1 league goal in 5 months.... dream striker!

In fairness if you are belittling Jacko's goals against Swedish part timers the same magnifying glass on most of Nkunku's wouldn't paint a pretty picture.

Not belittling - the first was amateur defedning, but the second was was a cracking finish. Can only score against who you are played.

After two full seasons I think it’s pretty clear this lad is a long way from top striker potential. He’s been given a better chance than many and he’s proven consistently that he hasn’t got what it takes.

Perhaps the ‘highlight’ for want of a better term was his hat-trick against Spurs last season. I still haven’t got my head around how someone scores three goals in a game whilst simultaneously producing one of the worst performances seen by a striker in a Chelsea shirt, ever. His third was like watching Mr Bean playing centre forward.

But Jackson isn't picking himself to start every game is he ? If the club as you believe have bought a useless forward and the manager keeps picking that useless forward , why is your focus ONLY ever on the player ?

I have always had faith in the owners, they have faith in Maresca, he has faith in Jacko, just keep the faith Jim and trust the process like me.

Oh absolutely - Maresca also has my wrath for both continuing to select the this pretender, and more generally for the slow and stagnant football he promotes (see the various Maresca threads)... And the DoF and owners are fools for appointing maresca, and signing off on this signing.

That said - There if there is a shred of truth in the rumour mill, there is miraculously a chance that we make a profit on this donkey. I have no idea how - but if there is any prospect whatsoever, then we should bite off the arm of whoever is offering to take him. If we somehow turn a profit on the clown, then the DoF should be knighted.

Why would we sell him if he's the perfect No 9 ?........ Maresca actually wants to sign ANOTHER Jackson !!...

.

"But the Chelsea boss insists he is very happy with the performances of his centre-forward and that he would like another version of Jackson’s profile, if the Blues are to sign a new striker.

“My perfect number nine is exactly Nico Jackson,” he said.

“We already have a number nine. It’s not summer now.

“If we can have a copy of Nico, it’s okay. I have said many times, and you can see as well, with Nico we are a better team.

“Nico is the one we need. Last season, he scored goals without penalties. This season he scored goals until he was injured. Now, hopefully he can score more goals without penalties."

Are you genuinely asking for my opinion on why I think we should sell him (I think my opinion is well rehearsed) or are you arguing that we should keep him despite the growing evidence of how bad he is?

Maresca is either a) deluded or b) lying. I don't know which. I hope its B.
