Apparently this is still on too. Wonder if Romano is getting this news a bit late, because I can't see us going for him if Jackson is staying.

€40m? They'll just forward that to their Spam folder if they don't have an automated Phishing detection system in place

Also “Crown Fake”? You can do better than that. Up there with the “chelski” cringe Man United fans would call us.

Do better.

Don't take it personally Snow Flake it's only a bit of fun.

Absolute cluster f**k from our sporting directors.

With all the sales and loans they'd effectively left us with two strikers for the season - Delap and Joao Pedro ... you could see this coming a mile off ...

2 top strikers is what most top teams have. The options to recall one is where the masterclass lays on having such a good talent portfolio.

Be nice if Mheuka or Richards could step up from the Academy, but sadly I think they are probably both miles off the standard required ...

Is Datro Fofana fit now ? he must still be kicking about somewhere ... ?

And in finest "Where's Wally?" style, Where's Washington ??

I understand why we are doing it, but you must see how sh*tty this is to Jackson? Knowing Jackson, he won't return, and if he does, he's coming back with no match fitness and I doubt he is going to give a sh*t. The guy is going to stink out the place. Maybe we should just let him go and recall Guiu.

Apparently Nico is refusing to come back... which perversely is the best thing I have ever heard about him, and makes me like him a tiny bit more than I ever thought I could.

Not even sure I would want him back. He will be disruptive if we cancel his loan deal. If anyone felt he had a bad attitude last season, just watch our season fall apart if he comes back.

We have pulled out of the deal.

@nonotnowjim was just seen tying weights to his feet and climbing the rails of London Bridge

I am devestated. Currently on a weekend away with the wife on the Palm, and I am getting grief for football ruining saturday night. I just started singing to her "if you dont know me by now....." (in the style of David Brent). She is not happy. But her anger will subside faster than mine....

We were playing nice by allowing Jackson to leave due to having 2 strikers. Now that one is injured, we do NOT have to grant his wishes. Chelsea first, always. He is s Chelsea player even if on loan (did not materialize) and will do as the club requires.

I cant imagine Jackson will want to come back. Dont blame him.

If we go and drop another 40 million, we will be sailing close to PSR UEFA rule thingy and I doubt we can buy. Where's Jamie Vardy for six month contract? would lead the line... probably score a few in this side as well.

Not playing nice, basic economics at this point. Can we sell the training ground to someone?

We have sold everything…. To ourselves. So no, not to “someone”.

We have been casting him off for whole summer and now we want to recall him.

False. He requested a transfer. We did NOT push him away or tell him he has to leave.

Full Isak for a loan? Doubt it.

He will not see at is just a loan. He would have had an eye on making this permanent next season.

We don't have to grant his wish, but it's sh*tty not to after telling him we don't want him for over a month and using him as the player to move on so we can improve the squad. Yes, Chelsea first, always, and I understand why we want to cancel the deal, but we have to look at it from the point of view of Jackson too. Imagine being in his position and the club is telling you to your face you're not wanted and you have to leave. That's always going to hurt. Chalobah was in a similar position last season, but he has greater ties to the club and is loved, so he was happy to return, Jackson doesn't have that.
