July 25, 20232 yr There is talk, for obvious reasons, of how Caicedo is Pochettino number 1 CDM target, and how we need to give him his first choice targets. I wonder which of Olise, Kudus and Cherki are his number 1 target for the CAM/RW spot.
July 25, 20232 yr Left out of they who shall not be named training today for "minor complaint" I believe personal terms are verbally agreed and a deal with cleaning solution FC is close.
July 25, 20232 yr Don't mind Kudus at all. Rather take Kudus than Olise. He is more versatile and and combative than Olise. After the spineless sh*tshow the club served thruout last season, a combative midfielder would be a welcome presence

Can't decide whether that's good or bad. I would like to get re-acquainted with the furious reactions from my colleagues, though

July 26, 20232 yr Looks like it will one of Kudus, Cherki, and Olise. All exciting players, with different positives. Kudus is physically dominant, versatile, scorers goals, defends well. Cherki is a magician, both footed, unbelievable skill and creativity. Olise is fantastic from set pieces, and excellent crosses, already settled into the prem and has been here before. I'd be happy with any of them.
July 29, 20232 yr Hope we get this over the line but I imagine City/Newcastle are interested too. Edited July 29, 20232 yr by the special one

Another bonus with Olise is that his brother is in our academy. In fact, Michael Olise himself was in our academy for a while too. Isn't he more of a winger though? If so I am trying to figure out who would make way?

Yeah Olise seems the least versatile so imo the least likely, as we have Noni and Angelo who are out and out right wingers. Olise has played more centrally too though, but his delivery is probably his best asset. Not sure what the plan is, scouting seems good, but still massive holes in the team.
July 29, 20232 yr Kudus ticks all the boxes for me. He seems built for the EPL and most versatile. He can play on the RW or AM. A position that we sorely need options. Of we can get Cherki too for his creativity and vision, then we can alternate btwn the two of them depending on who we are facing

August 5, 20232 yr No nothing about the guy. I think we've signed enough wingers for now anyway haven't we?
August 5, 20232 yr Man we look like right mugs if Caicedo isn’t pulled off. Doing so many “favours” for Brighton.

Like others have said, if we do get him I want us to avoid doing business with Brighton again for a long time. Edited August 5, 20232 yr by Malcolm9
August 5, 20232 yr Brighton splashing the Caicedo money already. Can't say I'd ever heard of this c**t until a week or so ago. I'm sure he's licking his lips at the prospect of playing alongside Danny Welbeck.

The way things have turned out I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s as simple as Brighton now having the funds because some club thought spunking 25m on their third choice GK was a good idea. We’ve had our trousers pulled all the way down by them all window. Only saving grace is Colwill giving them the finger.
