£25m for Uguochukwu, £40m for Disasi, £60m for Olise (apparently) £15-20m for Sanchez (maybe)

This feels like a massive waste of money. Well over £100m that doesn't improve us much if at all if this happens.

Just based on suggestions his new release clause is between £50-65m

Release clause still active according to the Athletic. 

So if Man City pays 35m it's over...

In an ideal world we sign Kudus & Olise for almost the same fee Vlahovic will cost, and both will earn combined less wages than Vlahovic. With Kudus you are getting a 3-in-1 player, who can cover on the right till Olise recovers. Olise is the perfect Mahrez replacement.

How do we get a guarantee on the hamstring ( or any) injury? Is palace going to buy him back if he gets a hamstring injury? 25M is for a 19 year old wonder kid most people never heard before, I'm sure palace will ask for more.

Hope we sign him, if anything so City don't - Olise/Haaland could potentially be a lethal combination.

Olise at #10 and Kudus at right wing and I'll start to believe we can challenge for top four again.

His original contract was 5 years, ending 2026. There has been talk of a renegotiation last year but who knows?

I wonder if the new contract was because he wanted to leave last season, Palace want him to stay a season then let him go for a decent fee this window, that could explain the renegotiation and relatively cheap fee?

The few available details are hazy. Last year's (rumoured) renegotiation was (rumoured) to increase the release clause.

Frankly, I don't think we need him.

Apparently,  Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Michael Olise, 21 --- £26m.

Aye read thar a few weeks ago. We were deciding between him, Kudus and Cherki. I preferred Kudus but that ain't happening.

Seems to me that we are low balling them considering this alleged release fee is quite the bargain anyway. I give up trying to work out our recruitment strategy. Straight in to sign up loanee kids with no messing at all, then first team players .....lets give them a tickle and annoy them, before we actually put an acceptable offer in... 🙄

Apparently his injury is a torn hamstring, and he has had surgery, but it's only been a couple of weeks, so who knows when he would be available. 

Instead of buying a player that just had surgery on his hamstrings, why not buying a very good player in Kudus who would play in several positions and his injury free.. this is a case of been penny wise and pound foolish. i.e. if Crystal Palace are not going to do a Brighton and demand we pay the 60m fee in full.

One theory I've heard is that we've pulled out of the Kudus transfer and allowed Brighton to step in to facilitate the Caicedo transfer.
