That will be crazy considering we have bought an out of favour player of them, unless they are selling Caicedo at a knockdown price it’s bad business.

Werner couldn’t find the net, but he still created havoc for defenders which made us dangerous in attack.

Lol...so we first buy their out of favour GK and supposedly now pull out of a transfer that I'd imagine we wanted just to please those Brighton c**ts. Next what ? We buy Mbappe for 200 mill and loan him out to Brighton so we get to sign Caicedo for a 100 mill ?.

Yup. If we hadnt sold werner, last season we wouldnt have been nearly as bad as we were. Always thought that was a mistake.

Seems mad, at least to me. One of the top young attackers in the country, outside of the "big 6" clubs, and apparently he will cost one third of a Caicedo, a defensive midfielder.

I thought we needed one more here, assuming we were playing 3 behind the forward. but if we get Lavia and Enzo moves forwards, there's only two spots like you say.

haven't even mentioned Carney and Casadei either 🙂

I suspect Sterling leaves next summer, he's probably on high wages and the board are keen to get younger and that would give madueke, Olise etc a year of prem experience as backups.

Great signing, if he didn't have the release clause I can guarantee he'd be going for at least what we're signing Lavia for. He can fit in as an AM or as a RW which brings in some depth.
