Why would we play back 3 against LUTON?

Im so disappointed with the line up. Surely it’s much better to play Madueke as a winger instead?

Wait… Chilwell playing as a winger, does that mean Caicedo is playing left wing back? 😶

3 man midfield. Gallagher probably playing just behind Jackson and Sterling. Sterling will probably move out wide to provide width.

I told you mate.

I had a lingering fear for the past few weeks that Poch be subdued to play a back 3. It's coming to fruition.

Sadly, but you can at least understand why he used the last couple of games when we didn't have a DM. No excuse not to use it now against Luton of all teams.

I didn't even believe there was any excuse against West Ham either. Ugochukwu is no youth product he has 2 full seasons of top flight football under his belt already.

5 at the back (and yes it is because Chilwell will predominately be a LWB, not Left winger) against the worst team in the league at home. Unbelievable. May as well bring back Potter.

As silly as it is, it's still early days, 3rd game of the season. I'll wait a bit longer before I start saying things like that.

It's a 4231 on the ball with Chilwell at LW and Colwill at LB.

Really makes no sense to me, Chilwell is not a great dribbler, so I guess it will be similar to west ham where we try and attack down the right with Enzo and Sterling combining, then Chilwell attacking far post.

Obviously I'm taking the piss but its utterly disappointing that Poch has now seemingly disregarded what we worked on in preseason in favor of a quick fix. It's not sustainable.

He's not, but he's direct in making his runs and he knows how to score goals. Maybe that's the thinking behind it. I'd still prefer a proper winger with Chilly using his attacking prowess from LB, but unfortuantely we're already a bit short of options...

Still safe, though I can sense a degree or more heat, making it tepid atm.

Make a group where you have 10-15 yrs membership of SE, at least we’ll be civil to each other, not to many F and C bombs unloaded, 🤣🤣🤣

Oi,  some of us relative newcomers to the SE know how to conduct ourselves in a proper manner. 😉

3 at the back, poch is going to do a scooby doo reval and it will be Potter all along.

Wouldn't shock me if it was Antonio Conte here and he never truly left.

We've always persisted with it since he came, had a year off with Sarri, some time off with it under Lamps but ended up going back to it, always had it with Tuchel and Potter, now sadly it's made a comeback with Poch who I last expected to be using it.

All that attacking talent and Poch sticks with this total w**k formation, a formation we didn't even use in pre-season when we looked like an exciting team, just a tease to bring back this dry dreary sh*te

What attacking talent?  We have one of the least talented set of attacking options in the entire league with Nkunku injured.

People will blame Poch but the problem is despite spending one billion pounds on transfers we don't have 3 talented attacking players at the club.

Madueke and Mudryk are worse going forward than Chilwell which says everything.

That’s the worse bench I’ve seen from us in a long time.

I’m not a fan of colwill having to play left back with next to no protection from Chiwell but we should still get a much needed win here.

Going for a draw here with this set up…might get lucky if we catch them on the break. Luton are an unknown and we cant’ lose two in row so I can understand the ultra defensive formation. Just hope we dont lose, don’t want to be in another relegation battle.

Well everything you've said is total bollocks so I'm not even gonna bother.
