Are we down to Jackson and Sterling as only real match fit stacking players, with Madueke and Burstow also available.

Tomorrow calls for patience. I’d play Connor further forward with Enzo and Caicedo in a pivot. Tough to see where the goals will come from but need to take plenty of shots.

Where I would deploy Conor depends entirely upon how fit/ready Caicedo is personally. If he's good to go, then I agree, push Conor on. If not, then keep Conor in the pivot and maybe give Maatsen a start further forwards.

Endo eh? We are a little late to nick that one off the scousers. Lol

At the risk of being perceived negative, I do not think we will win tomorrow.  Luton will play a low block, 4-5-1, probably hit us on a counter or set piece, and I struggle to see where our goals will come from.  We score an average of one goal a game, across a sample of 40 matches.  Across a larger 62 game sample, 1.25 goals per game.

Our play is better under Poch, but just don’t feel good about these early season games.

This might be a controversial take but Man u just released Mason Greenwood. We need goals and he has them.

I have always felt young people deserve a second chance and I won't mind him in our attack

Not really sure why I'm dignifying this with a response, but here we go:

1) astronomical difference between being hated for spending a lot on players and being hated for harbouring abusers.
2) He wasn't found innocent, charges were dropped by the victim. I hope you can understand the difference there.
3) re: "they've had a baby / why is she still with him" questions, I urge you to educate yourself: https://ncadv.org/why-do-victims-stay

The hoops people jump through to try and justify the idea of him having any future in football are absolutely ridiculous. He has done vile things to that poor woman and it is sickening that he hasn't been banned from the sport already.

Correct.

This fixture takes me back, I’ve posted head to head I know it’s not 🍏 to 🍎 re the resources each club have today but in the last 1/2 century there’s no indication we just have to show up to get the 3 points (albeit no league fixtures since 1991). Admittedly they got battered by Brighton in their solitary EPL outing but mark my words they’ll be up for it big time, along w old boy Ross da Boss. I’m going 2-1

Agree very much with this - think we need to give sufficient respect in preparing for this game to avoid an upset tonight.

While as you mentioned not many recent matches, it was quite close last time we played in the FA Cup last year (even if away).

Also while true Brighton got a big win in the end a couple weeks ago, I went along to that game with some friends who like Brighton, and can say that while Brighton definitely had the better ability, still Luton certainly gave a real effort for much of the match and threatened a fair few times - so if our defence isn’t focused we could get some trouble.

Overall definitely a match we should be winning - but we need to avoid underestimating Luton - hope we give a strong performance from the start to show we mean business and get a big lead as swiftly as possible.

Don't care how many injuries we have. This is Luton and we should be winning this. We are at home after all.

Jackson and the flanking players need to step up and produce a good attacking display. The game can be over in the first half if we play right.

If west ham can beat us with 10 men, we should have absolutely no excuse at all.

Santos loan takes our bench down to 6 for tonight LOL.

I wonder who Pochettino will promote from the academy for the other 3 spots ? Humphreys for sure. Maybe Moreira and one of the strikers ? Ronnie Stutter perhaps ?

Or maybe they will fast track Washington straight into the match day squad ?

Surely not? Although from what I've seen of both I'd rather him than Burstow.

You never know. It might be Ollie Harrison. We signed him from Newcastle this week. Yes, he's only 16 but he is a midfielder and has recovered from injury so I can totally see why we nabbed him.
