Still can't fit Mudryk in mind you 🙂 I think Noni will have more goal threat than Mudryk, so he gets in on RW, with Sterling switching to LW (so he can cut inside and shoot with his best foot). Hopefully Broja is fit to start alongside Jackson. With Broja not even on the bench on Sunday I think you are asking way too much he starts here. We badly need him and I would love to see it, but just seems not possible.

We would make United look far better that's for sure, and they would be if we were to take him after that.

He was out long term and his return needs to be carefully managed
August 21, 20232 yr Ross Barkley absolutely nailed on to score, written in the stars. If we lose this, we are in full blown crisis mode.

I have always felt young people deserve a second chance and I won't mind him in our attack A second chance? He hasn't even paid for his first chance. Some will say that him losing a season of his career and being released by United is punishment, but I say boo-hoo. It's not really a punishment at all, he's still made millions from it, he hasn't had any real hardship from it. He even has family of his own now. Greenwood is scum.
August 21, 20232 yr I got full on Southampton at home vibes here. I am super confident as they are sh*t, championship cannon fodder heading straight back down, only saved from bottom cause Sheff United are worse. And unlike Saints they do not have JWP (who we should have bought!). Can they shock the system like saints did last year?

August 21, 20232 yr No disrespect to Luton, but if we can’t play four at the back against them we never will. My team (4-3-3 on paper) - we need a change and something different Sanchez Gusto Silva Colwill Chilwell Lavia Caicedo Enzo Madueke Jackson Sterling

Not sure how ready Lavia or Caicedo are for 90 minutes mind you ...

August 22, 20232 yr Mudryk, Jackson and Sterling hopefully as attacking trio. Mudryk didn't cover himself in glory on Sunday, however he needs a confidence boost and a run of games an if he is benched again, I don't see how this helps. Perfect game for him I would like to think. --- Sanchez -- Gusto -- Silva - Colwill -- Chilwell ---- Caicedo ----- Gallagher --- Enzo Sterling - Jackson - Mudryk

The pressure from the media will start to get into players’ heads and then we’re f**ked. Luton are the perfect opportunity to get some kind of a momentum going. No disrespect to them and hopefully I don’t jinx it.

August 22, 20232 yr Let’s be honest, anything less than a big win would be disappointing. Jackson need to score to get going, 2 goals would be nice.
August 22, 20232 yr If we fail to win here then we are f**ked. We need to win and put that west ham horror behind us. sanchez gusto silva colwill chilly caicedo Enzo sterling Gallagher mudryk Jackson

Lavia unlikely to be ready yet so have Caicedo in the deepest role. Get Sterling and Mudryk in behind and hugging the touchline. Tell Jackson to stay central. Gallagher arriving late into the box for the 1000 cut backs we manage and miss every game. Why would you tell the wide players to hug the lines? You haven't even seen how the opposition lines up. This isn't FIFA

August 22, 20232 yr 1 hour ago, KokeFran96 said: why should Mudryk start? Everyone saw him . That volley was the nail in the coffin Well, if 99% of this forum had their way, Sterling would have never started any of the first two games and would be shipped to Saudi but he played and done well. He isn't going to be kicked out from the squad based on that miss. Poch has to work with him and games like this which is our easiest on paper so far, we should look to integrate him in and go from it right from the beginning.
August 22, 20232 yr 1 hour ago, KokeFran96 said: why should Mudryk start? Everyone saw him . That volley was the nail in the coffin well, given how we played that second half against west ham, seems like we almost need to park the bus against such a dangerous luton team, and just let mudryk run counter attacks all evening. Entirely kidding but otherwise he is similar to Werner, doesn't fit a side who plays with 75% possession trying to breakdown a low block. That said, I think he needs to start, for a bit here at least I'd like to see them move gallagher to 10, even though we know how that experiment normally goes, but him with some combo of sterling/mudryk/madueke and jackson up top. August 22, 20232 yr I'd play Sterling on the left and Mudryk on the right. Latter continues to look bang average than bring on Madueke.
