The main takeaway from this for me so far is Luton wearing Umbro shirts. Reminds me of some classic kits. 

Not a good half really. Sterling's quality getting us out of jail again but otherwise poor I think.

Wrong

There is a total of zero difference to the way we play from a goal kick. It's too slow, we get ourselves into tight situations. It needs to be one ball into the CB's, then either move it to the wing back or to the half way line. 5 passes between the defenders is the worst way to play out of the back.

Agreed. The formation is terrible and we are playing way too slow. Not really any different from last season.

Well, still unconvincing. Disappointing in fact. 

Sterling's form aside this is a pitiful display. Against the worst side in the league, and at home. 

 

How many times have we seen this match at home? Typically ends 1-1

Chilly passing every ball back. 

Even though we are winning I preferred our performance against West Ham and Liverpool, this is horrendous.

Gallagher is not Chelsea material in the slightest, always gives me anxiety when he's on the ball. Bin this formation Poch mate. 

Not a good game of football but I like how we have had zero problems keeping them at bay.

Hmm. Not great really. We've looked disinterested since the goal. That's not good enough 

good up to the goal, then it's been poor. Asking for a sucker punch. 

Safe, slow, dull football. 

Jackson has been really disappointing. Barely been able to control the ball at times.

Gallagher is not great at transitioning attack which is his role so really slows down tempo. Chilly has also been pretty terrible passing every ball backwards.

Definitly very slow at times. There's something odd about our build-up as well but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Issues with build-up was one of the big complaints of Pochs time at PSG so hopefully that doesn't continue here.

Caicedo also doesn't look confident out there for me. Still early for him of course but he's definitly hiding a bit and looks a bit lost.

We lost that spark after last season... teams are no longer afraid of us... there's no way a newly promoted side would have come to Stamford Bridge before and dared to press us in our own half the way Luton are doing.

We are a mid table team, this year. Great goal by Sterling, but poor elsewhere. 

Nice goal but otherwise a pretty labored, unconvincing performance. A lot of sloppy passes. We need a second goal.

Winning but still not convincing, to many slow sideways and backwards passes   Not enough shots for some reason they keep taking a extra pass , really hope we don’t play this formation all season because I can’t see to many goals
