I won’t approve until the entire first team is 100% kitten.

Becoming more and more likely that this lad was the best transfer of the entire 2023 summer window, an incredibly talented player, superb technique. He made that side footed goal last night look so easy, and it absolutely wasnt.

I recall just before we signed him we were being linked with Arsenal's Smith-Rowe who I thought might not be a bad signing as I'd seen a lot more of him. Then the Palmer signing happened out of the blue and I'm so glad we opted for him as he is so much better and not another treatment table hogger!

I love Palmer and think he's class but he's not close to Hazard.

He's doing a fantastic job but his goalscoring numbers are boosted by penalties this season.

He has been such a breath of fresh air, just love it. Let's see where he is come the end of season but as first full seasons go, I think he's been outstanding so far, hope he keeps it going. Hazard was already producing miracles in France for a few seasons before singing for us, if we can hang onto him, reckon he'll turn some Hazard esq numbers. He's just going to get better and better with more confidence. Just wonder if he could be Poch's next Kane... it's a stretch given how good Kane is but him, Gordon and Kane as a front three if Saka gets an injury? (I rate Saka highly) 

45 minutes as a false 9 . Cannot get in to the game as normal.

45 minutes on the right side, giving Mitchell, a very good defender, a torrid night and gets 2 assists.

14 goals/9 assists. 

Thought he was poor for most of the game, but came up with quality again when we needed it.

Hopefully we stop playing him as a false 9. 

Was having an off night but came up with 2 decent assists at the end. I think he’s clearly the player to build the attack/team around.

Mainly because poch played him in the same position he has failed in the last 5 times in the first half, it's a complete waste of his ability. Poch is an idiot.

Poor game by his standards, but he was still one of the only players who was capable of doing something in the right moment. He played a few decent balls in. 

Bad game from a player who has been class almost every game he has played. Poor miss but he won't be short of offers when he decides he wants out of here.

I think it's harsh to say bad game.

Still think he was the pick of our "forward" players. Anything any good - he was involved. But he was more subdued and it looked like his legs went in extra time. Could probably do with being rested for Leeds game but he has become that crucial I can't see us creating anything with him not in the side.

 

City will buy him back in a season or 2.

The players will be on the floor, mentally more so than physically. Rotation vs Leeds is needed imo.
