Bellingham is playing a deeper midfield role and Cole is an attacker. I think that lad is future Ballon D'or winner. However it is so much easier to play alongside Kroos or Modric than in our youth-setup.

Bellingham has essentially been at ST at Real.

That stat also isn't correct. Bellingham is on 29 goal contributions and Palmer 28.

Bellingham played most of his games where his goals came from as a false 9 this season

Absolutely sensational player. We need to start competing at the top of the table if we want to keep hold of him. He'll be off in a couple of years unless we sort ourselves out.

If we don't get European football next season, he will look to leave. He is already top 4 quality, he isn't going to waste his career with us if we are still a mid table team at the end of the 2024-25 season.

Data says we’ll be masters of the universe end of 2024-25 season.

I don't think he gets in the Arsenal side ahead of Saka, or in the City side ahead of Silva/Foden, or ahead of Salah for Liverpool  ?

So I guess that just leaves Spurs ... or a move abroad !

I think he will stay.

He has a contract. He can't just leave.

We'll sell because we will have no choice. We can't afford to keep these players and continue to miss out on Europe.

I don't think Silva will be there much longer, same goes for Salah at Liverpool. Silva's been pushing for a move for while now if rumours are to be believed. I don't think he will finish at City. Salah will be 32 at the end of the season, I don't see him sticking around much longer. Palmer can also be used in multiple positions. In 2 years time, every club in Europe will want him.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the owners see him as a potential sale at a profit to ease their FFP/PSR concerns before long.

He's been our best signing by a country mile under this ownership.

He knows his level is well above being at a mid table side.

Like our other best players we either get back to a CL level club, or they leave, as we will need the money and they will want to go.

And they can have him for 120m. Which is genuinely think is what we will do in 2 years time.

Even if we're in top 4. I still think we will do that.

I don’t think it’ll come down to whether the owners want to sell him or not. It’ll come down to him wanting to leave to play in a decent side with the potential to win trophies. I’m sure he could leave as soon as this summer to sign for a decent side, but the yanks will probably prefer to hold out for another year to get a bit more for him.

Having a Lampard esq season for nothing.

He is developing well. Cities academy training, peps coaching and natural ability only goes so far. He needed the games for his development and it is going great for him, so certainly not for nothing far as he is concerned.

Another season would be smart on his part. Two seasons in row with numbers in this area would erase any "one season wonder" question marks and give him a pick of clubs if we remain at this level and cannot give him the platform for the very top level.

Alternatively if, say a Real, Barca or Bayern come in this summer with a massive bid then

1. We may have to accept

2. He may think why risk a second season playing for a mid table team when the big offer is on the table now.

We are years away from challenging for titles. Football careers are short. Just ask Harry Kane!

He may well be viewed as an ideal replacement for Salah in a years time. Salah plays a teasing game with the scouse each year. New manager, I could see that. Hopefully not.

Yes if such a club came in for him he should give it serious consideration.
