Which is why Poch needs to get off his high horse and accept this squad isn’t built for a possession-based style.

Some of the best chelsea teams ever were counter-attacking teams. This team is loaded with pace. Use it.

Not every team needs to be f**king Barcelona.

We definitely need to move away from possession football.

The few games we have looked good in this season have been games where we haven't had so much of the ball.

Counter attacking is about smart runs and good finishing.

We have Madueke and Jackson up front.

Jackson in pre-season was carrying the ball into space and counter-attacking well. He’s much more effective playing there than trying to beat a back 6.

Madueke is a dud but Jackson in a counter-attacking team will do a job.

So you think he would have flopped in a superior side with a superior coach?

100%.

We saw it time and time again.

Under TT 343 the st cant just play as st otherwise the whole offense would collapse.

This is one of the biggest reason why we played much better with Kai than Lukaku.

💯 would have. He averages 15–20 touches a game. When he isn’t scoring it’s a real head scratcher, and that is even with Pep playing 4 creative players just behind him.

Problem is that it’s impossible to play like that against teams like brentford who just sit back
