The exact same reason KDB left us. Didn’t want minutes off the bench. Wanted to start:

Competition was nowhere near as strong though. We massively f**ked up with De Bruyne, way worse than Salah who looked well out of his depth at the time. Lampard was on his last legs, Oscar was an up and down player (I never was his biggest fan) Mata wasn't liked by Mourinho. De Bruyne should have got more time in the season he left.

Well an emphatic win after a pathetic start.  It's been a mystery all season why we start slowly and seem to be asleep with no energy or enthusiasm.    Mudryk once again has had his chance to prove his worth and has failed miserably.  Chillwell demonstrated that he has been sorely missed on our left.  Enzo and Caicedo are still playing too far apart IMO leaving a chasm in the midfield.  Back four still slow and methodical and once again fell asleep ..perhaps understandably given the scoreline.

Onwards and upwards for Saturday where we will see a different level of opponent.

We play on Friday, don’t miss it!

Villa will be tough as hell, I agree.

Oscar and Willian were mainstays at the time. Even Schurrle was great. KDB was going to be rotation at best.

The club selling him vs simply loaning him until he was ready was the issue.

MOTM close between Palmer and Enzo for me. Shout to Levi as well.

Forgot Chilly!

For me it was Chilwell, Enzo, Disasi & Palmer (in that order)

I don't think we have actually changed much from how we started, we've just been clinical and taken advantage of Middlesbrough's mistakes. I still want us to shake off this slow football, but there hasn't been any sign all season that it's going anywhere.

Well done team....good luck Fulham....we'll done Boro fans ...6 1 and supported loudly to the end....be proud....majority of Chelsea fans of nowadays..????? I'll leave it to your imagination what I think.........we ll need luck at Wembley....maybe ..just maybe
