March 30, 20242 yr I don't even blame Pochettino that much. Boehly has basically put together a team of kids for him, so I'm not exactly sure why anyone is surprised that they're inconsistent and flake when the going gets tough.

So many. Sterling, Mudryk, Gallagher, Gusto and Jackson should all have done better. Sterlings was easier to score than miss. - We should have had a penalty when the Disasi goal was disallowed. If the goal is ruled out (which it was correctly), then it has to be a pen for the fact that the defender was pulling disasi with a handful of his shirt. The commentators said nothing about it. So biased. - Petrovic with an absolute howler. Well he needs one howler to catch up with the rest of the team…I think they all have at least one.

There's enough sh*t to attach blame to everybody. The players are not mentally strong enough. They play with fear when things are tough and are too arrogant when they score a goal or create a chance, like they think things will just come easily to them as time goes on. The coaching is abysmal. I have never seen a coach send his team out so badly after half time. Everybody was telling me that he was good with young players, but it looks the complete opposite to me. This group needs somebody who is a bit more of a bastard and not somebody that will make excuses like "oh, but the xg" no Pochettino, the xg means we are f**king up our chances. Coach these players to be more professional and to make every second count. Create a team, it doesn't even have to be a good one, but any sign of a team taking shape would be a start. The owners are complete clowns. They don't have a clue about what the sport is about or what it means to fans around the world. They have approached it like it's an American sport, a sport where they can throw silly money at, but unlike others sports, it's going to come with consequences. The idea of relegation to somebody like Boehly is crazy, he doesn't get it, and these owners have taken dumb risks that can and probably will end in disaster for the club.
March 30, 20242 yr That for me is the worse result of the season, I never wanted that spurs twat in charge but I gave him a chance. I'm done now, 36 years supporting this club, I'm exhausted this season.

No sorry….they maybe young but they are not novices. This team has international players including a WC winner so the bullsh*t of preparing kids doesn’t cut it. For the first few months you could put it down to not playing together but not now, some 9 months on. While the injuries may have certainly attributed to some of these performances overall the coaching both on and off the pitch has shown to be well below even a mediocre standard for an EPL team. In game management has been questionable all year, let alone the apathy shown by the players and managers after poor performances. We’ve shown no improvement since day one, no progression to a style of play or even a settled formation, or game plan. It’s a sh*t show throughout, squeaking a win here and there and only scoring freely at times against lesser sides with lesser men. Today we never even managed to paper over the cracks… we just greatly exposed them. Edited March 30, 20242 yr by CFCCAN
March 30, 20242 yr No longer a surprise This team has been outplayed and out coached by championship teams and lower nothing has changed all season. Poxy Team with probably the worst manager in the Premiership
March 30, 20242 yr That was our season ending right there. Like a slow motion car crash, you could see it coming but were helpless to do anything about it. All the wheels finally fell off the clown car. Got some sympathy with the injuries and the unbalanced squad Poch has been lumbered with. But to not beat ten-man Burnley when you’re one up at half-time? And you concede straight after kick-off? Again? And then you concede from another set piece header?Something’s not right there. Don’t know where we go from here. So much dross in this squad. We’re going to have to sell to buy and only a handful are untouchable by recent Chelsea standards. What a shambles.

This is well beyond just Boehly. I fear Eghbali's influence on the matter. Seems content with this data driven approach alone.
March 30, 20242 yr So amid all the doom and gloom, we made it to 40 points. Good jobs boys, see you all next season.

It is quite possible that this is all that Clearlake are bothered about. Another Season in the Premier League, with numerous millions £ in TV revenue. There doesn't seem to be any real ambition for more, which is just as well, as with Pochettino as Coach/Manager, they won't be getting more 🤬🤬
March 30, 20242 yr That headed chance Sterling misses was a shocker. Could not find the Disasi ruled out goal on Youtube.

March 30, 20242 yr I have been a Chelsea fan for 52 years, a Season ticket holder for many of them and I have never been as disenchanted or embarrassed by our performances in all of that time as I am now. The total lack of passion, strength of character, will to win and Leadership is mind boggling and even when we had the shockingly poor squad of the 80's and early 90's, I could still identify with many of the players and, Ron Suart, Geoff Hurst, Danny Blanchflower and John Hollins apart, The Managers and coaches too. I still want us to win and to a certain degree it still ruins my weekend when we don't, but I just feel total apathy at the inept performances, the shockingly poor substitutions, the growing comedy value of Chelsea Football Club to our nearest and most hated rivals and the obvious, total lack of real tactics or a Plan B (is there even a Plan A ??) and lack of Atmosphere at the Bridge. I have read numerous times, people saying "It doesn't feel like my club any more" and that sums it up for me too. It always felt that someone in the higher echelons of the Club really cared about me and people like me. The Mears Family, Ken Bates, Roman Abramovic and Bruce Buck were CHELSEA people, but this has now ended and we are left with a bunch of Investors amateurly lead by the Talking Head Todd Boehly who has surrounded himself with ex-Brighton people of a very low calibre. Sorry, but I fear it is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. Oh and PS, Pochettino has to go 😉

A dinosaur, of which the ever evolving Premier League passed him by. Spurs took a left turn and made a gamble with Ange (at least by name standards) and it’s paid off for them; we just f**ked it in every department.
