I didn't think I would admit that Graham Potter did a better job than Pochettino is doing. Those two muppets Badiashile and Disaai were a joke. For me, Fernandez and Palmer played well. Others were OK but the central defence and attack (?) were pathetic.

What is Pochettino saying to the players at half-time? Why do the players come out after the break and instantly fall apart every time? Just what on earth is going on? It’s unbelievable that this should keep on happening.

It's almost as if his half time talks put them into a soporific slumber and they're comatose when they come back onto the pitch for the 2nd half.  Does anyone have the stats for how many goals we've conceded in the first 10-15 minutes of the 2nd half this season ?

On a lighter note. Kudos to Plokoon for bringing attention to the excellent Devo to a wider audience 👍

I saw my first game at SB in 1957 and have been a season ticket holder since 1976 eventually moving in the the early 80s to the east stand middle tier at a reasonable price. After the success of 2005, we were shunted off to the upper tier of the west stand unless we paid 3 times the price. Now we're stuck in this so-called Westview because we didn't move when we had the opportunity to do so. We didn't realise it was a one-off opportunity.  We are now surrounded by different tourists at every game who are just happy to be there. I'm certainly not looking for sympathy but just want to say what I think Boehly and his cohorts would like the match day crowds to consist off. Bring on the giant buckets of popcorn!

Nobody around me today could care less about that pathetic display.

Badashiele and Disasi don’t look like top-class defenders and haven’t shown that they are anywhere near the level we’re going to need in future.

In hindsight, not signing a striker when Nkunku was injured in the hope that Broja would come good, was a massive mistake.

I still have hope Caicedo and Enzo will shine with better players around them. Gusto has been great. Palmer is the one genuine world class talent in the team. Dread to think where we’d be without him.

Personally thought other than his goal,Palmer was as average as anyone else today. What a sh** show today. Gallagher isn’t a proper 10. Not that it made any difference but madueke was the wrong sub.

For such a big guy, Badiashile is very soft. His reaction times are also really bad.

Embarrassing and somewhat predictable, go up, man up, even had an extra manager on the sideline, still failed to win and lucky not to lose. I wonder what was said at HT, seen quite a few episodes where we just conceded after HT. Did Poch tell the players just to take it easy for 10 minutes? It's unreal 2 minutes after restart, nobody made an effort to block the shot or get anywhere close to the player. The usual apologist's view is Enzo is not there to defend, Caicedo meant to be B2B and not a DM, so whose job is it to help the defence? GK had a shocker for the second goal, but how the hell did we let the guy have a free header? They should have scored again off the same play, how did we get so bad again with defending set pieces? Same story in the attack, apart from Palmer everyone did their bare minimum. Sterling got an assist then screwed up the goal chance as usual. Jackson looked good until he couldn't finish. Mudryk needed the space to play, so once the score was tied and they defended deeper , he couldn't do much.

More worryingly, we looked like a team with little to play for, just like this time last year. The manager is not helping, I mean by XG we'd probably won 5:3, pity the score doesn't reflect that.

How the f**k did we get beat 2-1 in 45mins of football against a team of 10 men that was second bottom ?????

It seems we come out in the second half weak every game, and as soon as the other side scores we start to retreat and the whole team visibly shrinks in stature and confidence. And whilst we crumble our weak manager sits there impassively checking out his f**king I pad.

Embarrassing result and performance but that’s been the case for 18 months or more. We are a joke defensively, turns out thiago silva wasn’t the problem after all.

Very deflating result and performance.

It’s matches like this you find out if progress has been made or not, but we failed to live up to the challenge.

I’m not confident against Manchester United in midweek. Despite their own troubles, we haven’t beaten them in the PL since 2017.

Looks a goal to me noticed on MOTD tonight no close ups of this review.......................

Cannot score a goal off the arm even if it is accidentally. Rightly ruled out.

VAR bottled the pen though.

I don’t see much progress since Potter. Some players have improved as the season has progressed, but from a really low level. Some like Badashiele and Disasi, are just not good enough and have actually gone backwards. I don’t know how much is because the players are just not up to it, and how much is down to the manager failing in his responsibilities. Both probably. Either way, I can’t see Poch being given another season and I can’t see any decent manager willing to work under a Board that doesn’t seem to know what it’s doing and wants to keep it that way. It’s a disaster really.

Grief, I dunno wot some of the people on here are whinging about...

Typical shyte performance after the disruptive international break, especially from Gallagher...

Game with loads of chances we failed to take (again)... and a game against 10 men we should have won easily.

And we would have won it but for 1 mistake by the goalie and the fact that we're obviously lacking confidence in front of goal.

What I don't get is, following that, why are the moron's on here out calling for Todds head again?

Is there some kind of underground mini Chinese/Russian fan base at Chelsea trying to undermine our American owners master plan?

ps. No doubt that pr@t G Crooks will be out again to tell us we would have won it - if his hero Raheem had started!

I do think Sterling would have been a far better sub than madueke with mudryck moved to the 10, where he should have started.

Burnley merited at least their point for me.

Was not a pen on Mudryk, really awful call.

well it evened out the nailed on pen we should have had when disasi goal was ruled out, for the blatant shirt pull on disasi, which was overlooked by all

For 90% of the time he looks so stiff and wooden to me. To be honest I never did understand the appeal and I'm still struggling to see it. Had a brief period where he looked half decent but that's a distant memory now.

Reading between the lines from yesterday's press conference de Zerbi seems to be positioning himself to be the next one. Won't commit to Brighton. The press are trying to make it a possible Liverpool thing now but surely they wouldn't go for a guy that has no real CV to speak of and appears to have now been tumbled by other clubs.

Average manager, superficially successful for brief periods. De Zerbi or Thomas Frank. Got Chelsea stamped all over it.

I'd love to hear from anyone who still thinks we shouldn't play Silva.  We have bugger all composure at the back without him.

Missed him yesterday... perhaps he should teach some of the younger players, like that pillock Sterling, how to head the ball in the goal before he goes.

Ahh I remember the days when matches lacked such Jeopardy, the question was would we win by 1 or more. Now day's the only certainty is I will shout profanities at the TV, then look back at the kids and tell them its acceptable and they could never understand (they haven’t taken to caring about sport to much, and there only interest in Chelsea winning is their farther remaining in a relatively decent mood) I digress...

It is out right impossible to have an opinion about this team and how poch as a manager is performing. When all players are fit and firing, That whole defense doesn't start, (although Gusto is an excellent find)  We have zero cover in center mid because everyone is broken. Chukwameka looks like he might have something about him but breaks down after every goal. Lavia never been seen, and so on and so forth.

What in my opinion is clear, Is a number of players aren’t going to make the grade, Noni to call out one, but he's not alone. It feels like we used to have players who couldn’t rise to the level of the squad, Sidwell, Geremi, Boula, some did better then others but ultimately never came close to locking down a firm place in the team. Now we have a team who can't reach the level of a few. Of the group that took the pitch yesterday. Petrovich, Palmer, Jackson, Gusto, Conner are the only players that I can say have really delivered for us this season. The rest range between i can see what they could be and please please just leave. But these are the players who seem to have that all most important quality, not being made from glass.

I feel better now..
