Imagine the Thiago Silva that went to Milan was being tracked by us right now.

"Another young Brazillian, some experience like Abdoulaye Méïté could be got at for a decent price"

Funny we did try and sign him back in 2008  and at least on here, most of us were excited but didn't see how he would fit with Terry, Carvalho, Alex, Ivanovic, Mancienne and Bruma all vying for spots.

With Scolari's team in free fall though I think we wanted all the help we could get.

This is exciting. Don’t know a whole lot about him but the objective of buying the best young talent is great (hopefully not always at the expense of the academy).

We need a better multi club model to really get this going. But the thought of Paez and maybe what Estevio can bring is fun.

Is he any good? You tube videos don’t tell much or are that exciting to be honest.. looks a lot like Madueke.. any good links that show his complete skillset.

even in you tubes Kendry looks miles ahead.

Is he better than Kendry Paez? What's the plan here long term?

Can any of Palmer, Paez or Estevao play on the left? If one can then is that Nkunku up top?

Nkunku/Mudryk Palmer/Paez  Estevao/Medueke

When know what Palmer can do, if Paez is half as good as people are saying he is, and is going to be, it would be like playing Messi and having Ronaldo as his back up

No. It wouldn’t. Those are 2 of the greatest players in history. 😂

Just putting it forward that, while Mudryk may be happy being Nkunkus back up, and Noni may be also to be Estevaos backup up. Neither Palmer nor Paez would be happy as a back up if the both fulfill their promise.

If Paez only ends up as good as Noni or Sterling, then no issue.

We have to bear in mind these lads are only 16/17, played very little first team football, and none in Europe.  Can’t imagine them starting the majority of games in their first season.  No guarantees they need to compete for their place.   Think we need to calm down a tad, but imagining Palmer, Paez, and William all rotating in a fluid front 3 is Exciting times.

Aye it is.

Not seen anything of Estevao but Paez has looked a real special talent, and Cole certainly is.

Ohh the Paez lad he is special.. he really can do it all.. it was a real coup when we signed him.

He may well turn into the next Vini Jr but it's alot easier to do that at a club like Real Madrid who are littered with experienced first team players.

It's all well and good signing these talented players but I think they reach their potential quicker when they are playing with winners next to them. We have one of the best academies in world football apparently so why don't we invest in some 23-26 year olds to help us win now and bring some youngsters through that we already have on our books.

I wouldn't mind this signing so much if we already had a strong winning core in the first team.

Literally just turned 17.

I saw a tweet saying that he is going to first team straight away. Nah, not happening. He will probably go to u-21 or Strasbourg
