Estevao and Paez are destined to be good simply based on their names. The next Eusebio and Pele (one can dream).

Sorry I can't get excited by this. I want to go back to the days when we signed the likes of Sterling, Higuain and Aubameyang. We need more old, has-been players for their experience.

The wonder kid to world class player ratio is pretty low, but for defenders I can’t think of any, they seem to come out of nowhere.  Pau Cubarsí of Barca looks talented but it’s still early days.

In fairness we are short of young players who prefer playing on the right wing. Glad we are plugging that gap.

I came here for the “here we go”, “it’s happening” and “48 hours”. 

Think we need to buy another European club to accommodate the number of foreign youth players we buy every season. You still want the academy to produce 'pure profit' players, so don't want these kids to come to the club too early to take up a spot in the under 19 or reserves. It's fascinating we need to sell grown ups to keep in line with the FFP, as soon as we out of trouble we buy more youth assets.

On the basis that this mob seem to have the idea that every child born in Brazil 16 years ago is now a generational footballing talent ready to take over the world, i wonder whether Clearlake and Boehly can actually get ahead of the curve and steal a march on the rest of the football community.

Perhaps, rather then purchasing football clubs as part of a multi club model, they could open a string of South American sperm banks and we could then harvest our own burgeoning galactico talents in a few years.

Perhaps a franchise of clinics called "Ele Atira, Ele Marca"

Jokes aside, they are doing a good job expanding the brand in South America. 

Fluminense president just had nothing but good words about Clearlake/Chelsea and hope to do business in the future.

Apparently Clearlake already hire undercover Only fan girls across Europe to infiltrate elite footballers to gather sperm to create genetically superior wonder babies.  Operation crusty sock I think they called it.  No reason they can’t deploy it in South America.

To be fair I think Icecoolguy22 has a point. City Group have 12 clubs spread around globally with I think 2-3 in South America, and 4 clubs in Europe. Take Savio for example who is owned by City Affiliate Troyes, loaned out another City affiliate Girona, and bound for City in the summer. 
We need an affiliate club in a more technical league like the Spanish, Portuguese or German league to speed up player development.

I feel our owners have been quite slow in this respect; there were talks of them acquiring a Portuguese club a year ago but that stopped once they didn’t sign Joao Felix permanently. Liverpool and Utd are going down the affiliate club route also so we need to speed things up a bit as both clubs are a bigger name globally and would find it easier to do business with other smaller teams.

They've only owned Chelsea for 2 years, spending about £4bn in the process, City have had the same owners since 2008 and the city group wasn't started until 2013. I know it isn't what football fans want to hear but we need to stop expecting new owners to finish their plans within a couple of years, it just isn't realistic.

For what it's worth, I think this group ownership of clubs is immoral, against the spirit of the game and should be banned. But that's just my opinion.

Ownership by small rich groups certainly. The German rule of 50+1 is the best concept of football club ownership imho.

i said in concept. The German way needs work and improvement for sure, but it is still better than the vulture capitalism of the Premier League. All the top English clubs are now owned by some very dodgy investors.

Olise would improve our chances of becoming a top 4 team right now.

Put the money down for him instead of a player who could come good in 2-4 years time. 

Even if this Estevao turns out to be good Olise will be at that level anyway.

I get the sense they want both, especially as we need to stockpile right wingers.  It must be the new left back!

For next season we shall be sticking with Sterling. Sterling, Madueke, Misha Mudryck, Ice Cold Plamer*, Carney Chukwuemeka.

I think all those players stay on loan. Hutchison has a great opportunity to be blooded in the premier league every week next season so lets grasp it rather than upset the player and sit him on our bench all season.
