Keep hoping for more but have to agree, or at least later.  There was this random guy warming up, might have been Nkunku.  If he can stay fit for a game, I;d like to see him inside left in that role.

With what we have Cucurella doing, the left winger needs to hug the touchline. No one else is providing width on that side.

Good point.  I’m sure Nkunku could do that also, but perhaps not his strength.  Would be nice to have the option.

I expected Mudryk to burst thru on the near 1-1 chance where Conor then got the ball stuck under his feet.

Not 6th, Newcastle look really good again and likely will win out their remaining fixtures.

Fair but they've been as inconsistent as us and United so they could just as much drop points in those last few fixtures despite their recent good form.

I don't think his overall performance warrants a substitution right now. I don't think he is having a bad game at all, just not as effective as the other attackers around him.

I think he needs to go on loan somewhere. I just don’t think he has any clue somedays about tactics and what his role is. The Spanish poodle is offering more today than Mudryk. He constantly cuts inside into trouble and unless he can hit the ball 5 yards ahead him so he can chase and beat another player to it what does he offer? To me he’s another version of CHO and until he matures I think we are going to see nothing more than what we are seeing now IMO.

They also had a lot of players out during that run of poor results. Still have some out but their midfield and attack is restored.
