Jose Mourinho’s odds have plummeted from 40/1 into 2/1 favourite for next manager of Chelsea. (Standard)

Surely there’s no chance this happens.

contracted until 2030.

I think its obvious which players Clearlake value and which they don't.

Chalobah contract is until 2028.

It doesn't matter isn't it, if the financial statement say you need to sell, you sell

Gave it him 6 months after buying the club after Fofana got injured. They've been trying to sell him ever since.

The slightest murmur of Colwill leaving and they locked him down.

From Cobham everyone can see Colwill, RLC and Reece are the cream of the crop.

It doesn't matter who is the best, you need to fill the squad. Actually the best way to use Cobham or any academy is for squad player.

And James.  Bet they were banking on a solid end to the season and a good summer tournament which Reece managed to throw in the sh*tpan for them.

Bigger issue would be Caicedo and Enzo, heard some say they would not suit his style.

Back 3 protects a lot of issues, particularly if all 3 CBs cover ground well and defensively strong (sorry Disasi).

Genuinely think all the players we have would strive in Amorim's set up bar the 4 I mentioned.

I don't disagree. Should have saved the money we wasted on the brothers of destruction from Mocaco

System could be an issue, as I think we would need a pacy centre back that can also step into midfield, maybe someone like Todibo, and I think left wing back we would need a bring in quality too, unless we can keep Maatsen, which is unlikely as I'm sure we will have to sell Maatsen, Gallagher, and Chalobah anyway.

It's so frustrating that due to the way football finances work we may end up spending more on replacements for the players we sell this summer (who may not even be as good as them), but doing so will put us in a better financial position for this years reporting.

It doesn't feel like it actually makes any financial sense. Not to mention if we did want a CB who can step into midfield, and a pacy wingback, we already have them in Chalobah and Maatsen.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I'd personally rather sell Colwill than Gallagher or Chalobah (assuming we have to sell).

In an ideal world I'd keep all three though.

"Manager search" is turning out to be so darn hilarious across Europe.

1. Bayern doing a u-turn on TT but he decides to leave anyway. Now they're close to signing a manager who recently got relegated.

2. Barca humiliating their own legend Xavi by first asking him to stay and then asking him to "f*** off".

3. Liverpool not being able to afford Amorim and settling for Slot.

4. Everyone chasing Championship managers as if they're the best thing since sliced cheese.

5. The most sought after manager in Europe (Alonso) deciding to stay where he is.

6. Man utd's managerial circus to begin after FA cup final. They may sign TT in an effort to get the best out of Mount.

7. We're chasing anyone who can make Enzo-Caicedo pairing work.

I'd first sell crap like Disasi, Badiashile, Mudryk, Sanchez, Cucurella and probably Sterling too.

Problem if we get McKenna is he's going to go from being interviewed by the work experience kid at the South Suffolk Argus to being in the spotlight of international media 24/7. It's a big step going to an elite club.

Before as it turns out!

Why the f**k have they leaked this now? Don't get me wrong, it's great for us as we need Man Utd to lose, but f**k me these rich people are stupid.

Maresca now 13/8 with Skybet, Mourinho 3/1 and McKenna and Amorim both 4/1.

Funny that seeing as Sky have been pushing Maresca the most on their channels and website.  A news station that reports on rumours is allowed to then take bets on said rumours is madness.

Which is why he'll go to Brighton.

At this point, I don’t care.

I have no faith in these owners and whoever they appoint is most likely going to be a ‘yes man’ for them.

Agreed. I don’t have any faith in the owners.

The club is crying out for consistency and stability at the coaching level. We haven’t had either for goodness knows how long now.

Why there isn't? He will immediately command respect from whole dressing room and club structure

People keep saying he is a washed manager

If any the facts is those club he manage was washed instead

United and spurs has spend combined no less than 1.3 billion since they sacked him and like 12 seasons combined , what did they achieved since ? 1 carabao cup

Roma has never won an European trophy in their history, he won it for them along with back to back european finals that i don't think any roma manager can ever do for the next 100 year

Mourinho is still a world class manager

Ancelotti failed at Everton doesn't mean he is a sh*t manager , it's everton whom were sh*t

Same goes with mourinho 3 latest club

For 20 seconds until he blames all and sundry others when things aren't working. His M.O. these days. Read up on his days with, most recently, Roma.
