So he is €200k player signed by Atletico from Granada and then loaned out to Alaves for a season. So effectively this is Mason Burstow, but for 30m. Righto.

These owners are hilarious.

Hahahahahahahahaha

What a load of old bollocks. The sad thing is that it is a measure of how far this lot have turned us into a laughing stock that when bollocks like this comes out there actually is some credence to it.

I have said jokingly before that this is a money laundering scheme for these clowns, but i am now starting to seriously think about it.

It's interesting that Atletico rejected the bid. And if CFC do nothing else they kept this quiet while they were putting it together. Well Romano might have it wrong but when he straight out says "rejected a formal bid" it sounds like it's properly sourced. Could just be an agent trying it on, but trying to buy this kind of player is our style.

As for comparing with Mason Burstow how does anyone compare Burstow with a different 20 year old. One might be Messi and the next Solanke say or less.

Has anyone seen Omoridion actually play for Alaves? I watch a fair bit of footie and I certainly have not.

The point being is that we already have a striker that has played no real football and that we have loaned out to an average club and has done little there. But the name is irrelevant.  Could just as easily plucked Datro Fofana out of the air as well. This is a player that nobody has ever heard of, who has only ever played 35 senior matches, was signed by Atletico a year ago for 200k and has never played for them, yet they have rejected a 40m bid, allegedly, from these idiots.

If true, which it looks like, it is more farce from the clowns at our club who seem intent on making us the laughing stock of football once again. It looks like another episode of Ozark UK by Clearlake and SD morons, pure money laundering. Surely.

I did watch a YouTube video, he looked strong, a good left foot and a poor right, not particularly pacy, fair in the air. He did score 8 goals for Alaves  (finished 10th) in La Liga. This doesn't make him chelsea starting material that's for sure, but the lad may have a bit of talent.

It maybe the same video the SDs watched before deciding he was worth €40m. The going rate is €40m for a player with a short video and €70m(e.g. Mudryk) for a player with longer video.

I'll compile a video tomorrow of myself knocking a football around for 2 hours. Maybe they'll sign me up for a €100m.

The thing that sticks in my craw the most over this is the complete lack of integrity and standards from the tw@ts we have as SDs here.

They continue in dialogue with a club that value an England International, PL captain for 30 games last seasoned, a top flight PL player for 3 years at £16.8m and wt the same time they value a player they bought a year ago for €200k, has never played for them, loaned out for one season and has only ever played 35 matches at €80m. This is bollox of the highest order.

If this was Man City dealing with them, Atletico would be black listed now, never to deal with again.

Whilst I agree in principle, just remember that this is all Twatter bollocks right now.

I hope so mate.

I'd be upset if they sold Gallagher but I'd be upset and more importantly scared for the club, if they can't see the true value of Gallagher.

Looks an ideal profile to be happy as back up to Nico Jackson 🙂

Reasonably good in the air I suppose ... but to be honest I'm scraping the barrel for something positive as I am not seeing much else to get excited about !

It is possible this deal is doable because we have agreed a relatively low fee on Gallagher. Maybe something positive over the loss of Conor. However I know how the fans will greet him if he doesn't get bang in the goals right away.
