We are going to screw up aren’t we? Everyone else is playing a side that are already poolside in their flip flops and sipping on a piña colada, whilst we have an away game against a side with the same need to win as we do.

Only ourselves to blame.

Don't think anyone cares even a bit about Spurs winning a trophy. On the other hand, United's fall from grace is monumental. 16th in the table, no European football next season at all, a bang average squad with little to no players who represent big assets in case they need to raise some important funds, a clown as a manager and this guy Jim Ratcliffe in charge that seems ready to cut the 1£ cookies out of their menu in order to save money.

This Spurs win can be so important in the grand scheme of things as it could mean the moment United truly implode.

I agree except for that the only malevolent force behind us not playing CL football next season will be ourselves.

We got a preview of what our attack will look like vs Forest defence from tonight game.

The only positive is Man Utd will be fired up to get a result against Villa so at least they have a 10% chance of getting something.

What an awful night. Awful game too.

Really? You think that is more likely than them sulking?

Rumours that both managers are leaving

No wonder - neither club will spend money, and certainly Utd's cost cutting efforts will probably ask the manager to pay for his own tracksuit and to bring a packed lunch....

Yeah, isn’t it 2 months without a win for them? And they lost a final now.

The very least they could do for the fans is get a result at last game of the season, at Old Trafford.

To be fair, we tend to drop points to those side as well.

Them winning has zero effect on us, they are not going after the same targets we are and are largely irrelevant as a club.

Happy for Son in a personal level but that’s about it.

Other than ir being absolutely horrible you mean.

Hasn't that ship sailed with them being where they are in the table?

Imagine that lap of honour, regardless of the Villa result...

Couldn’t care less as there’s nothing they can say that we haven’t already done.

United would have been a real threat next season with CL appeal, could attract the likes of Gyokores, etc

Palace, Newcastle, now Spurs. Have to say.. the current trend is with Forest that’s for sure. Literally all the odds against us. We said “written in the stars’ in the build up to 2012, this time we’re trying to rearrange the stars. Seems written.

All the underdogs winning...so maybe we don't win the that huge Trophy next week...and finish 7th.....our Manager needs to go

@RMH how could Bilbao ship 7 goals to this lot?

A combination of inexperience and the players have got to the end of the season quite tired and broken physically. The team didn’t know how to play a semifinal and their legs went after the first half of intense play. Also, manure got a helping hand with the refs, as we know they do too in the PL.
