Not a fan of the line up, Jackson stinking the gaff up for 80 minutes until he gets subbed and a CB at RB is just dumb. Noni's ghost performance last week doesn't warrant a start either given the talent on the bench

Noni has some credit in the bank IMO, if he looks poor won’t be surprised if he pulls him at half time for Neto. Maresca has said he sees Neto as Madueke’s RW competition; issue is Neto has been average, granted those performances have been on the LW.

I’m sorry but the state of this football club. If Jackson & Tosin are in your starting 11 you’re not challenging. It’s that simple.

Nkunku had to start after last week and why not give young Acheampong a chance if James/Gusto aren’t available.

Baffled by it all.

What does Nkunku have to do! Frustrating to say the least. Ok with the rest.

Think this is another week where our options / strength from bench can win it for us.

All that said, can we just play better football, whoever the 11. Turn up and compete.

Come of Chelsea! KTBFFH

I really have no idea why Nkunku isn't playing more. Surely he should be perfectly fit by now?

RB is a def a worry but at least Fofana is a hell of a lot more mobile than Disasi.

Pretty tough match today, come on lads.

Absolutely garbage man-mangement by the Faux Pep.

N'kunku must be feckin fuming.

He must be fuming, he knows and the supporters know he is miles better then Jackson, he wont hang around playing second fiddle for long, come Jan if he is not a regular starter he will be looking to leave, Clubs will be fighting to sign him

As soon as I saw the starting lineup I knew exactly what the match day thread would be like 😂😂😂

My only explanation here is they don’t want to risk Christo yet in PL due to the tough nature of the games and I can understand that.

But at some point Pep lite will get it from fans!!

N'kunku's confidence would have been sky high after coming on and finishing a difficult chance to win us the game. In one stroke Maresca has let all the air out of that balloon.

Plus he has blown a golden opportunity to send a clear message to Jackson, that if he keeps missing good chances in practically every game, he can be replaced.

You are talking absolute rubbish. Will you please stop making up excuses for Pep Lite.

Here we go... I have stupid confidence in the side today. Nkunku ommission is strange, I dont get it unless theyre nursing him back to full fitness and he has some niggling injury we're unware of.

West ham have had a indifferent start, we can do it.

Both the West Ham centre backs are 194cm big units so I can semi understand going with Jackson over Nkunku to start the game ... with the caveat that I really think you need to find a way to get your best players in the team, not collecting splinters on the bench !

With right backs out a 3-2-4-1 might achieve that ?

No problem with Fofana ahead of Acheampong at right back. Maresca is always going to say he rates a promising academy player, but that doesn't mean he's going to play him ahead of an experienced defender playing slightly out of position, especially in a tough London derby away from home that might get a bit physical.

If Jackson had the physical strength and aerial ability of Drogba, or even just the physical presence of Costa, I would agree.

But he doesn't.

It is not about height. You need at least one player who prefer to run behind rather than asking the ball to their feet otherwise it is very difficult to do any offense
