Fabregas was a special player, Enzo isn’t. He’s average.

This is where the mental aspect takes hold, and Cesc has been in this league since he was 17. 

Tough game, we would have lost that last season. We had some great chances, and a big shout out to Sanchez.

Lol couldn’t be far away from the truth.. Neto lay the perfect cross on Felix’s head.. and Mudryk ran the length of the field .. took on two players to lay similar for Nkunku..

Agreed. Maresca's lack of a plan B shown itself here. He wanted us to play exactly like we have been playing all season, but you can't do that against a low block. It was the same against Crystal Palace and he hasn't learned anything from it. His subs were way too late as well, and in all honesty, Nkunku should have started the game. Jackson has never performed well against a low block in his Chelsea career, nothing was going to change today, and if anything, he probably had his worst performance. He did nothing.

I don't think Enzo or Sancho should have started either. Those are two more players I don't want up against a low block. I've said enough about Enzo already, but Sancho is all about precision passes, we don't need that against this type of team. We needed players running at the full back and stretching defenders, which is why Madueke was only one that looked threatening.

Frustrating watch but it is what it is, of course people are gonna be disappointed but there's a lot of progress on show

I think you're right ... there's too much pressing and he just can't handle it - makes him make too many mistakes...

Fabregas did struggle with the physical nature of the Premier League though. The difference with Enzo is that Fabregas was a genius with the ball. Fabregas was so much more clever than Enzo too. he had a much better understanding of how to control the game.

If you don't have the physical attributes, then you're going to need to excel in other areas.

On the one hand it feels like 2 points dropped but could of also lost it at the end.

Breaking down teams at home is still a big issue for us, it where we drop the most points.

Enzo needs dropping but he won't be due to his price tag. A very average player.

Problem is consistently here. Individual players can be a 9 out 10 one week then a solid 4 the next. What we need is everybody on at least a 7 and a couple on an 8 or 9. As has been pointed out a lot on here Fernandez never has two good games in row he's very unreliable in that sense. Same with Jackson and Madueke. Score for fun then disappear for 3 weeks. No good for progress. I'd rather see them score one winning goal in three different games that hat tricks in one game. However onward and upward. Til Liverpool folks

Exactly. Fabregas was a world class passer who could be relied upon to create goalscoring chances on a regular basis, his vision, timing and execution were top quality. Enzo is nowhere near that level.

Losing Cucu for the scouse game is catastrophic. Blokes been lights out this season. 
Draw was a fair result, could’ve easily been 4-4 with the chances for both teams.

Enzo isn’t adding anything to this team and when Jackson has days like today it’s as though we’re playing with 9 men.
