Chelsea vs Newcastle United (PL) Sun 27th October 24 14:00 GMT

We need a better second half performance. Electric on the fast counter attack, but when we slow it down we lose our way.

The defense makes me nervous every time they are near or on the ball.

Referee is getting annoying also

Referee now stops play when Newcastle players tackle and go down. Give us

Clear bias

Palmer was offside by a centimetre and right call was offside

Isak looks clear offside but given as a goal

On the point raised by Dan, Robert Sanchez has only had a 50% passing accuracy so far.

It's been a big helping hand for Newcastle

50% passing accuracy for a goalkeeper is terrorism.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we lose this.

need to change things get sancho on lw move Neto rw. And bring cucurella for either gusto or james as a left back

Should be comfortably ahead but lack of clinical finishing and being a mess at the back costing us.

Also, Sanchez being good with his feet has to be one of the biggest myths in football at the minute

I don't understand these crosses into the box when Newcastle have the advantage in height and muscle...total waste IMO.

A decent 25 minutes then lost our way...again.  Lets hope the HT team talk produces a blistering 2nd half.

There should be an end of year review by a third party on VAR decisions then have their performance assessed and if there are any noticeable trends in decisions going one way or another to certain teams, if they are interested in fairness why is that not an easy thing to implement?

The difference in the chances are night and day.

We have to play to break Newcastle down, but they just have to wait until we f**k up. Newcastle haven't done anything especially good in attack, yet they have had more than enough chances to score because our entire shape off the ball is so bad.

Yes. Defensively our shape has been suspect all season tbh.

Good half. I like the look of this team. A few areas could be a little bit tidier. A bit more danger and impact from the wings because those guys are seeing plenty of the ball. Palmer is the mutts nuts but I'm loving watch this Lavia play. Sanchez, what a shocker. Continually undermines confidence.  Because of his sloppiness the others then make decisions they wouldn't have done, like punting the ball into space rather than playing through. We end up turning over cheap possession and conceding.

Important that we take the setback on the chin and build from here, and do not recede and get bossed by them.

Its so stupid we would score if we just did what city do and sprint past a player and do low crosses into the box instead of what we are doing now thinking Jackson can out jump burn
