Have to see what positions the wingers take up ... could be 3-5-1-1 if Neto and Sancho are "wing backs"

Neto and Sancho surely the wide men in possession. Caicedo presumably filling in at right-back off the ball?

Looks so weird, haha. But intriguing!

Yeah Caicedo covering for RB kinda makes sense, didn't even think of that possibility.

I used to grumble when Tuchel picked 7-8 defensive minded players. Maresca has done the opposite - this could be wild.

Strange line up, odd game to experiment if it is a back 3, come on Chels 

I hope Caicedo isn’t being wasted at RB, Gusto should have played, if not it should be Cucurella and Veiga at LB

From one extreme to the next it’s all out attack it seems trying to outscore the opposition as we know we will concede

I can understand the back 3 given how potent Villa are on the counter. Hopefully should give us some protection.

It's probably not as wacky as it looks on paper.

Comparing to our previous PL game, he's basically swapped his wingers out (Neto and Sancho instead of Madueke and Felix) and is playing Lavia instead of Badiashile.

Think this is a way to pack the midfield in possesion.

Although given Villas highline I'm surprised Sancho has started.

Villa are a physical side as well. 

Not sure why he’s dropped Madueke, that side is hardly packed with goalscorers.

That said, I have every hope for a chaotic, nonsense game. Come on Chels, second (realistically third) place is in our grasp.
