To be honest another body in midfield was equally as important. Caicedo goes down our season is finished. 

Unless we intend to have 5 CMs going into next season, don't understand the point of this signing vs simply recalling Santos.

Wouldn't put it past this lot to sell Andrey Santos in the summer.

 

I hate these owners and sporting directors, absolute sh*t stains on the clubs history, and it's only been a few years.

This is the thing, we had the chance to recall Ugochukwu or Santos to add an extra body in midfield and then prioritise the signing of a striker but as usual we've overlooked the biggest glaring issue with our squad.

He is going straight out on loan seemingly???

Might that mean to Strasbourg to replace Santos, and Santos is recalled after all??

Or will S&W, buy a midfielder, recall no one and loan out the midfielder they have bought!

This would be ideal, but unlikely.

Looking at the photo i just assumed that this was a typo and we'd re-signed Ampadu.

As usual a totally irrelevant signing of a player that will never play for us.

This feels like a low point. A confirmation that this ownership has no intention of challenging for anything, they have turned us into something between a production line and used car dealership.  They need to be pushed out by the fans now.

Just watched the twitter feed of this lad playing from Secret Scout. His style appears so open in receiving the ball and when challenging. Can see him getting crunched in this league with that approach to be honest.

It was on the BBC live transfer updates section yesterday, but you're right, it's not listed in their summary of all the deals done on deadline day. Maybe it wasn't completed in time and fell through.
