Jamie Gittens doesn't look like a premier league player and doesn't show any signs of becoming one. The longer he gets opportunities the less effective he gets. There comes a point where he doesn't get any game time at Chelsea, I think that will be soon.

The club are probably already thinking he is a dud. Don't see many more 1st team outings, What's the point?

No idea where he ends up.

Nah.. not at £50m

I look at Summerville for West Ham and I think he would have actually been a decent signing. West Ham signed him for £25m+ and he looks good. Gittens I am willing to give more time with us, but he dribbles and dribbles, then runs into trouble or loses the ball.

Summerville is quick, with lots of tricks and flicks, but flatters to deceive with little end result. Scored 4 goals for Leeds in 30+ appearances. Looked threatening -v- Everton the other night but, as per usual, running into dead ends, losing the ball. Obviously the same can be said, at the moment, for Gittens.

Thinks it's going to be quite a while before Gittens has four goals to his name.

Sancho is a better option.

Jackson (sorry Jim) moved back to LW was a better option.

Why on earth someone thought he was worth bringing in, especially at that fee, especially in that position is downright insanity.

I can't understand why JimJim hasn't latched onto Gittens yet, he's a more than adequate substitute for Jim's volcanic criticism until Jacko returns surely ?

Gittens hasn't crossed the line like Jackson did.

I was hoping he would latch on to Carnacho.

Jacko scored the other night for Bayern. It was against Pafos. In the Champions League. That’s Pafos, not Pathos.

Sancho should have been the obvious signing. We knew what we were getting with him.

Sancho had every to want to match the £300kpw United were paying.

Just as this club had the right to not agree with making Sancho our most overpaid player not named Sterling.

Jackson is a scumbag individual, who was given every opportunity (that he didn't deserve) to succeed here, despite being the worst player to ever pull on a blue shirt.

Gittens seems like a nice enough chap - who has as of yet, albeit with limited opportunities, not looked very good at football. But at least he has potential. He seems like a lovely boy. Not as lovely as Timo - but not a bad human....unlike wacko the donkey fraud.

I think it's a further reflection of how poor our directors are in recruitment.

General consensus was that at the very least, one of Noni, Sancho, and Neto needed to go. Best case scenario two of them leave. The directors did what they did best which is get rid of players. The directors also did what they did worse, which is failing to strengthen the team. Gittens is worse than Sancho and Garnacho is worse than Noni.

It really feels like it could be 2 or 3 years before we see the best of Gittens.

I was happy he actually got involved tonight and had a shot on target but he’s clearly way off the required level. I feel a loan would be beneficial for him but we’ve spent 60m on him…
