I looked up his stats in the Bundesliga last season and see he scored 8 goals in 32 appearances. How could anybody think he would be any good in the PL? Timo Werner was a world beater in the Bundesliga and even he couldn't hack it in the PL. Any moderately sensible person could see this signing would be a disaster but it seems the club is ran by idiotsIt's all well and good to buy him if you think he has potential, but 50M for those kinds of stats in the Bundesliga is insaneNot fair to say Werner couldnt hack it with us. In his first season Werner had 24 (I think - cant remember the exact number I used to parrot) goal contributions. He also won the Champions league. Yes - He missed a load of chances, but he regularly was key to us scoring and winning. I would take a player who did that now!Timo was a lovely boy, but his problem was is his head. Once he missed a few, he crumbled, and the confidence never returned.

If Werner didn't have a head his first touch and finishing would probably have improved.Remains the only player I have seen who could be caught off-side in a phone box.
November 8, 2025Nov 8 It’s worth noting the absolute pelters people on here used to give Misha. He’s 10x the player Gittens is. Every signing seems to be a further regression.

At least I’m getting glimpses of his potential here and there, what the f*ck did we get from Mudryk apart from his debut?

I miss him more & more each game. Gittens, aside from a run out against Wolves reserves, easily looks like the worst signing of the BlueCo era (step aside Koulibaly) He is, currently, absolutely hopeless, no first touch, pointless pace, indecisive, weak and continuously out of position. Not a stretch to say Jesse Derry would do much more with the opportunities JJBG is being given, but he won’t get them because of the disgustingly inflated transfer fee.

November 10, 2025Nov 10 Gittens - poor bloke has a bad start - but he still has some time to prove himself. Not much time time, but some. After that his days are numbered. Mudryck? Well he has had his time - he took a lot of freaking drugs to improve his performance and he was still sh1t

Jamie Gittens, cost 10 million less than Mudryk and was signed in part because Mudryk is banned. Guy gets a free pass from me this season to impress and build a career with us and people are throwing him under the bus before he's even had any minutes to show what he can do.

Do well against lower sides but look lost against any established team. These attacking instincts can't be taught. You either have them or you don't. He played in the Bundesliga where they don't even defend, and he still had poor output. He's likely loaned next season for Queneda.

You do know that Gittens was signed as a left winger and Queneda will play as a right winger... where we have Palmer, Estavao and Neto....

SDs awful squad building won’t stop them from bringing in one of the best young wingers in Europe. Gittens is the obvious name they replace him with.

Who is one of the best young wingers in Europe, you talking about Queneda? we will definitely agree to disagree on his hype.

Based on what they have shown, Mudryk was the better player. The drugs are a separate matter, regardless of the fact they can't make you good at football. Maybe you should buy some magical drugs that grant you manners and decorum.

We will never know because he is currently banned from football because banned drugs were found in his system and while here.... They cant be a seperate matter as the drugs found in his system have stopped him playing for chelsea and the ban he is going through means he'll never fully develop his talent as he will have missed as many as 4 seasons through suspension while Gittens, by simply playing four years competative football, will be better than mudryk, a player who is banned for taking drugs that are banned from football.
