not sure its anything to do with age. Saka got a hamstring tear earlier this season.

Gittens & Lavia, Sancho etc are part of the same agency, Elite Project Group Ltd, all in bed with Shields, just lining pockets for his mates, all one big scheme.

It is very much to do with age. Injury risk peaks around 18-20 and slowly declines after that.

Jesse Derry called up to replace him.

Wishing him a speedy recovery. For a player than relies on pace (I recall reading a stat he was clocked 5th fastest player in bundesliga) a torn hammy is not good.

Saying that we didn’t even get a glimpse of his pace given how ineffective he was. Hopefully he can take this time to get his head in the right space and figure out how to be a more impactful player.

Is there anyway the FA will allow us to swap out the Mudryk ban for Gittens?

Like we’re allowed to start Misha again but not use JJBG for the remainder of the ban? It’s a scenario where all parties win.

Sidenote even that 2009 kid who came on yesterday looked more polished than Gittens ever has.

We seem to be the project for Joe Shields trying to prove what an amazing scout he was at city, he had one win with Palmer, he would be right about Lavia if he could stay fit, I can even kind of justify Delap, but he's really dining out on that Palmer win

Well that’s disappointing if he’s reinjured his hamstring. At such a young age also. Wish him a speedy, but more importantly, full recovery.

As far as first seasons go, this is right up there with worse ever signings for me. Very difficult.
