AFC Bournemouth vs Chelsea (PL) Saturday 6th December 15:00 GMT

Pick a proper back four which includes a right back at right back and nobody at centre half who would be better placed as a hat stand.

I hsve more desire to see Bernard Manning being massaged by Ruby Wax than I do to see Fernandez play in the centre of our midfield again so given Caciedo is suspended I would have to play James alongside Santos and put Gusto at right back.

Achy Breaky should play beside Fofana in the centre of defence and Garnacho ahead of Gittens.

I expect Pedro will be at number 9 with Delap benched and I would start Neto and Palmer.

However this is what I actually expect

Sanchez;

Cucurella

Fofana

Chalobah

Gusto

Fernandez

James

Garnacho

Palmer

Neto

Joao Pedro

So probably only two choices I disagree with (Fernandez and Chalobah)

Same as many others - have commitments this am so not following the game. I’ll avoid all scores while out and watch a replay later.

It’s a sad state of affairs that just expecting to be disappointed when watching the replay later. I’m sure we’ll see a busy, industrious reaction for first 20 mins post Leeds, then settle into the rhythm of slow football with a couple gifts thrown in.

Even if we win the table is so compact it makes little difference. Lose a couple (this and Newcastle) and we’re suddenly down towards mid table.

Players and manager need to show what they’re made of. The manner of performance vs Leeds was as bad as I can recall - they’d need to win 5 or more in a row to convince me they have any mental strength returning.

Not going to mass quote it but just have to read several comments above this one to see multiple examples of passionate fans of Chelsea who are happy something else is going on so they can miss the game. how sad is that?

We used to be far worse than we are now and yet we followed cheerfully. Carefree wherever we may be right?

Look what BlueCo have done to us and our club. What the directors have done. What Maresca has done. And what these players have done. They have killed the joy of having this wonderful sport.

Selfish, arrogant pr*cks.

Ageeed! Keep the blue flag flying high! Don’t worry about a thing 😉

Opportunity for the boys to put things right and who knows what will happen. It’s sport, enjoy the highs and the lows. Come on the chels!

My team would be this :

Sanchez

Acheampong, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella

James, Santos

Estevao, Palmer, Neto

Guiu

Probably at least 4 of those (Josh, Andrey, Steve and Marc Guiu) have no chance of starting though. We might even see Cole on the bench again as well.

Sanchez; Gusto, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella; James (c), Enzo; Neto, Palmer, Garnacho; Delap

Sub: Jorgensen, Acheampong, Badiashile, Hato, Andrey Santos, Estevao, Gittens, Joao Pedro, Guiu

That’s probably the best we have right now tbh

Nah.. I think he has panicked. I don’t think Palmer is close to being fit enough to start against what you expect would be a Bournemouth side. Just pray he holds up.

He also has no reason to drop Santos, but the “golden boy” has to play. Starting 2 RBs who he insists can’t cope with the rigour of midweek games doesn’t look smart when we are away in Italy on Tuesday. It’s a must win game though.

The league comes first for me. If they can't play twice in a week then its CL they miss.

Agreed. Top 8 is in reach but to get it we need to win on Tuesday. This line up may well mean no Fofana, no James and no Gusto vs Atalanta, which will mean no victory.
