Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Whether we like it or not this model is hear to stay while Blue Co / Clearlake are in charge; so get used to the comings and goings of players, good and bad, perhaps managers coming and going for the next few years unless there is a drastic change in direction.

While Maresca is not entirely responsible for the mess we find ourselves in, he certainly contributed to his own downfall. We know the two SD clowns certainly have a lot to answer for and so does Egbali, with Todd however I’m not so sure. While he may not know a lot about English football he is tied to two of the most successful sports franchises in the States, the Dodgers and the Lakers, both have been through transition and have a specific model of how to do things; albeit in some cases throwing huge amount of money to secure ‘World Titles’, whether it will work here with this club or football in general, if adopted by other clubs, is yet to be seen.

Rosenior was the obvious choice and was more or less going to be Maresca’s replacement anyway at some point unless his time at Strasbourg was a complete and utter disaster. I’m sure a few of us have been watching their games, I can say at times they have looked pretty good and like any young teams they can look awful, but I don’t think that’s entirely down to Rosenior, just the players inexperience. Maybe the SDs and the ownership give him more latitude in terms of team selection and not force rotations, and allow him to use his style of play, although I don’t believe for one minute that the SDs and ownership dictated to Maresca to play boring pathetic football with a thousand backward and side way passes each game. I’m not saying that Rosenior will be highly successful, or another complete failure like Potter, but let’s see how the first few games of him being in charge goes; let’s see what formation he plays with the talent he’s going to have and see what his in game management skills look like, before we condemn him to the Chelsea managerial scrap heap.

I’m still hoping they see sense now and stop this nonsense before it starts. Nobody at both clubs want it.

LR should not be CFC’s new manager. This young squad need a manager they immediately respect and listen too. And from what I’m told because I don’t watch Strasbourg but his ‘style of play’ is just the same sh*t different shovel.

No thanks.

I’d rather a few months of JT. Say to him listen to the medical team if he has to fair enough but beyond that he picks the team a sets them up exactly how he wants to a let’s see what happens. That I could get behind.

Liam Rosenior to Chelsea is reportedly advancing well and expected to go through unless something "extraordinary" happens.

Smokescreen. They will all declare themselves out of the "race" proving that Clearlake have completed a thorough and exhaustive process before returning to Rosenior. Knobs.

The question I've had in my head for two days is: Wasn't there a manager without a contract, better or at least with more experience than Rosenior with whom to reach an agreement, with any renewal clauses, until June? The property would have had 6 months to calmly find a coach, perhaps Rosenior himself.

I probably already know the answer, so when Rosenior arrives, for the sake of our Chelsea, long live Rosenior...

The more time goes by the more glaringly obvious what a terrible move it is for both parties.

Rosenior will destroy his reputation in less than half a season, not that it is currently sky high anyway, but he’s doing a solid enough job in a minor league, he could’ve easily been Glasner’s replacement in the summer.

Chelsea go from a tactical muppet with very little experience to, what appears to be a tactical muppet (We’ve all seen the Penders positioning vs Palace by now) with even less experience.

As a fan it’s just hard to see, but this version of Chelsea isn’t being geared toward success or domination, we’re a financial experiment to see if this Premier League cash cow can be extorted as a viable business model for all these hedge funds and what not.

Talk about hedging your bets.

"OH yeah the deal is advancing, I am telling you first"

"However I'm mentioning something extraordinary could happen so if it does I told you first too. Either way I am right".

I'm still holding out hope this is some kind of sick joke and we're not actually gonna appoint a ligue 1 manager that isn't even in their top 4

Iraola would shine too look what he's getting out of this average ass Bournemouth side. They might take points off le arse here

No manager would shine for any serious length under BlueCo.

and Bournemouth have no chance against Arsenal.

The situation in Chelsea at the moment is just unbelievably horrible that one just can not believe it. How can this club go from bad to worse over and over again?

Didn’t Strasbourg beat Palace? Something Maresca didn’t do with our billion pound squad.

The EPL is the most competitive and challenging on the 🌍

LR is a safe cash free option for owners whose only concern ️ wise is to avoid relegation a pesky inconvenience that 🇺🇸 money ball does not allow here in the United Nazi States of America.

I’ll get behind him if he comes but the odds for him to succeed without any relevant experience are long and one doesn’t need a 🔮 to know the eventual outcome. The Premier league is unforgiving and he has nothing to offer at this level. Some apologists on here will no doubt back & stand up for him despite results, make excuses but most of us will be waiting for him to mess things up further and then the 🔪 will be out on here again.

What’s next from Clearfake ? change our name from Chelsea FC to CFC LDN ? It’s in the post no doubt

Perhaps they will keep the CFC and just go for Clearlake Football Club.

I feel like we may see something similar to what has happened at Celtic since the new manager was appointed. He was highly rated by the data scientists but totally out of his depth for a job of that size.
