In all honesty he doesn't have to do to much more. The players are there - apart from an experienced CB - we have some bloody decent players - We just need to be a little more adventurous than we were under most of the Maresca games. A little more risk. Players playing in their best positions. Quicker transitions into attack. We have the players and we just need to tweak the system into being a little more adventurous.

He has glasses. He looks smart. I'm sure he can 'coach'. Q. Does he have the man management skills?

I just don’t want to see Sanchez playing sweeper, I beg.

From what I’ve read, man management is one of his biggest strengths.

I think Rosenior is going to surprise a lot of people. I’ve always felt this season especially, Maresca was holding the team back with his silly line ups, changing the back line every game and playing players out of position.

If Rosenior get the basics right, he’ll do well.

We haven’t sacked some sort of genius in Maresca.

A few sensible tweaks with a bit of patience from us fans and I honestly think he’ll surprise a few people.

He’s a bright lad, I was impressed listening to him when he used to do EFL games.

Getting a shot on target in the first 20 minutes of a home match and he’ll already pass Maresca in my eyes lol.

New era starts now, let’s see how it goes.

Have you missed the last few weeks where Cuc and Hato were injured, it looks like Cucurella may be out for a decent length of time so were down to one LB, or do you want gusto to play there?

Barco has been playing in midfield for Strasbourg whenever I've seen him. Very decent player imo.

As much as I was underwhelmed with this appointment, from the few clips of interviews I have seen, he comes across really well. Nice to have an English coach who was born very close to The Bridge.

He at least talks a good game - lets just hope that translates to the pitch.

They didn't want to backfill Colwill for a season out, so I can't see why a few weeks missing Cucu would be any different ? Perhaps they don't fancy Hato any more !

Doesn't change that this would be adding another vertically challenged and barely 10 stone player to an already relatively short team/squad, when they supposed said they wanted to add more physicality to the team. Probably also a sweetener for Rosenior joining - allowed to bring in his favourite player from Strasbourg ...

Gusto is an odd one for me. I can't say I particularly rate him as a player and yet when he starts we tend to win the games (won 11 drawn 5 lost 1 this season). Bizarrely, given his form, with Reece James starting we are 6-6-6. So perhaps Gusto even at left back is needed as a continuation of the lucky charm ! All depends how Rosenior sees Reece I guess .. RB/CB/DM ...

I thought Hato looked decent once he settled against City. He is young and will have some inconsistency, but so is Barco. Probably depends on which players suit Rosenior's system. Maybe Cucu is the one that will be moved on if we bring in Barco?

Cucu must be at peak value now, so there may be something in that ... we all know what motivates BlueCo LOL

If they can offload a 27.5 year old for a book profit, get £175K a week off the wage bill, and backfill him with a much younger player that the new manager really likes for a smallish fee and significantly less wages (currently €21K a week at Strasbourg as per Capology) then it's probably soggy biscuit time for our board and SDs ... 😀

Have always given my support to every new Chelsea manager (bar Benitez), wish Rosenior the best of luck and really hope he is successful.

Whilst my excitement levels are probably bordering on "Ken Shellito" levels I am actually looking forward to games based on what LR has said. If he can transfer that optimism to the pitch and performances then will be a happy bunny.

Intrigued to see what he produces.

This is the big worry for me. Rosenior is very much an advocate of the sweeper keeper.

Linked with Barco now. What a wonderful time to be a Strasbourg supporter.

Perhaps Barco is coming in to play in midfield with Caicedo and alternate with Santos. Then Enzo can be moved further forward to get more goals and assists or to be sold to Real Madrid etc for a sizeable fee.
