Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Featured Replies

A 6 year contract yes, that likely includes a lower wage along with an exit clause, and spreads the financial cost.

Is he anymore inexperienced than Arteta, Le Bris, Andrews, Lampard (1st time round) or Maresca were when starting off in the PL?

Maresca was sacked by Parma in Serie B, and inherited a Leicester team that had just been relegated from the PL. I keep hearing about his record at Strasbourg, yet they have most of the major Ligue 1 teams (other than PSG) above them. Hardly something to criticise him for.

And where is Santos going to play exactly? He’d have to bench Enzo and that’s highly unlikely under Egbahli’s watch. Though, one can only hope nowadays.

In a midfield three, with Enzo playing in the CAM role. Caicedo and Santos sitting behind.

That would be his best role but, I don’t think he’s good enough for that position nor we’ll play 433 under Rosenior.

If we're going 4-3-3, who are your front 3 ?

Estevao, Delap, Palmer.

If we are sticking with a 4-2-3-1 it will work. Enzo couldn't be any worse than Pedro playing further up.

Le Bris got Lorient relegated from Ligue 1, but is doing a stellar job at Sunderland. Keith Andrews was a nobody 12 months ago but he has Brentford just a point behind us. There is hope is not a guaranteed failure.

Methinks you’re clutching…

I think he'll stick with his 3421.

  • Doue at Strasbourg is a RB but plays like a RCB, which will 100% be James.

  • His two midfielders always sit. I think if Enzo plays over Santos, it will definitely confirm our suspicions because again, this is a system where Enzo is the odd man out. Especially if the wingbacks are attacking minded players.

  • The RWB and LWB stay very wide. Good roles for Gusto and Neto. Remains to be seen if Gittens or Garnacho can fill in here. A good role for Quenda too. Rosenior does have the RWB invert into the half space so that is going to upset a lot of people if its Gusto taking those dangerous positions.

What is left to say? I'll try my best.

There is no future to be excited about with this club anymore, they've gutted it. There is no aim to progress the club into a club that competes. Clear Lake and Boehly (yes, him too. I don't buy into the belief that he is the good guy of the group) are only interested in the money that can be made from the club. The players are assets. The "manager" isn't manager at all, because in the business world, a manager means to have some form of control, and these owners cannot accept a coach having that kind of role in their project. They are an employee that will do as they are told, and then when the coach gets a bit more ambitious, they realise that Chelsea is a dead end and will leave. This is why the likes of Rosenior has been hired, because he is, without intentionally trying to sound disrespectful, a nobody. Somebody that wouldn't even be an after thought for any Premier League side. He has no future as a top coach, he is here because he won't make a fuss. Just somebody to coach the team and do as he is told.

"Assets" like Palmer will eventually be sold on, not because they have given everything they can give to the club, like Hazard, but because he has reached his maximum value. The fans are seen as something to be exploited, and we are seeing it right now. "Back the new manager, back the team" Clear Lake will love that, just the kind of loyalty they will look to exploit, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that that is what they will be thinking. They don't see you as anything more. Football fans aren't a thing to them, we're consumers, consumers of the BlueCo project.

I have immense respect for our former players like Pat Nevin that sacrificed their position at the club for daring to speak out against these people and have lost a massive amount of respect for sell outs like Jason Cundy. Pat Nevin is proper Chels, Jason Cundy is just a reject that went to Tottenham because he was a sh*t footballer. Joe Cole and John Terry have been grumbling of late too, so what is Clear Lakes next move? to ban them too? Yeah, let's see how well that goes down. As for the likes of Olivia Buzaglo at Talksh*te, she can do one too. Just a plant to play fence sitter for Clear Lake.

Rival fans have been waiting for this day since Roman bought the club, to see us in ruins. Their jealousy and envy of what we had made them bitter, and they have been waiting for 20 years to see us crumble, they will get that with Clear Lake. That alone should make every Chelsea fan despise Clear Lake with a passion.

I think this junior could be gone by the summer. I certainly hope so.

I'm already being hounded by rival supporters mocking us. Spurs fans mocking us, oh the shame.

As Danny dyer would say

" Are you having a bubble"

Why would you hope that? Surely you'd rather bsck him no?

Who cares what they say, Arteta was hardly pulling up trees. As for Thomas Frank, not a lot to be said there.

@Malcolm9 I don't really understand this backing the manager stuff. How does my disappointment directly affect him.?

Its not great for a Spurs fan to correctly goad us about Thursday night football is it.?

But you are right my loyalty to Blue Co.isnt as strong as it was prior to their involvement.

The appointment is a joke, however you look at it. And no, it’s not comparable to Arteta—everyone knew exactly who Arteta was before he got the job.
Yes, Arteta was sort of a gamble, just like Maresca was, but this appointment goes well beyond that.

Hardly an inspiring appointment but as always (apart from Rafa) I want the best for him.

Couldn’t give a flying f**k about supporters of other clubs and what they think.

He’ll get my support until he shows he doesn’t deserve it because I’m not as intelligent as some on here that can already tell he’s going to fail.

The owners however can GTF.
